Mother Hubbard's in Breckland

Very nice food. I went in at a busy time and they forgot to put my onion rings on, not a massive issue, just had to wait a little bit longer. As an apology they give me extra onion rings and fish which was really nice of them. Definitely recommend.

On Holiday for a few days I have Celiac Disease so have to eat Gluten Free. I rarely get to eat Fish and chips So we were absolutely delighted to come across Mrs Hubbards one of a very few who cater for people who have to eat Gluten Free. The staff were so warm and welcoming The restaurant was immaculate and my gluten free fish and chips was the best meal I have had for a long time . Thankyou to all of you what a lovely bunch of kind people. We will definitely return Xxxxx

Never known such a hit and miss place as Mother Hubbard's! Sometimes they are great but most of the time the food is awful.Yet again last night's fish and chips were inedible. Both the fish and the chips were very overcooked and hard. The rolls were stale and the pickled onion was so mushy you could cut through it with a tea spoon. Yet again the staff didn't bother to put salt and vinegar on the chips despite being asked. The food was also only luke warm on collection.We may as well have just chucked a £20 note in the bin and saved ourselves the trip in to Swaffham for what was supposed to be a treat.We won't be bothering to go back to Mother Hubbard's as it's happened once too often and we are sick of the waste of money, food and time.

Very nice, good menu, really nicely presented, great bike pictures and lovely food. They also sell coffee and doughnuts.

Quite often travel up here for lunch with work. Always get a warm welcome from the staff. It’s a shame that the upstairs section has closed as there’s limited seating available now.Food is always excellent. Free parking in front as well.

This is the best fish and chips ever. Its our treat for the month. Crisp chips crunchy batter. Mouth watering. Jane Morgan

I had some nice cod and chips from Mother Hubbard. Good portions but the price for this lovely meal was far too high at £8.50 for a medium cod and chips! I won't be returning as I will buy elsewhere that is just as good quality but cheaper.

Only recently found this place online and ordered Easter doughnuts, for collection, which were wonderful. 😋Ordered from handmadedoughnut company.

Passing through and seen the good reviews so decided to stop. Very nice chippy with friendly staff, got served quick and had a gorgeous jumbo sausage and chips. Also ordered a pickled egg and they said I've given you two as they're small... Brilliant service and I'm not over these ways very often but when I am next I'm 100% coming back.
