Mr Chips in Breckland

Lovely fresh fish, chips and battered sausages, always friendly staff team. Better tasting when busy, obviously freshly cooked then (same as any Chippy!).Our regular go-to for fish & chips night. 👍

We enjoyed perfectly cooked fish and chips for our tea this evening - it was delicious.Staff were friendly and helpful - we’ll definitely be returning.

It's OK better than our first visit but still needs to improve fish and chips fish a bit over cooked and chips a bit greasy

Wonderful fish batter a bit over done. I like mine light brown. Wood recommended it.

I brought fish and chips and battered sausages for me and my daughter last night and it gave us both food poisoning terrible diarrhoea and vomiting. Iv reported them to the food hygiene agency. I advise you use another fish and chip shop.

We had fish and chip from here tonight. Freshly cooked , very nice and hot , fish melted in your mouth , nice clean place.. Staff didn't where hair nets or hats, while the lady serving at the till was waiting for the food to cook , she spent time touching her face , neck and hair a few times, not hygienic when working in a food establishment.

Food was nice but let down by service. Whilst we were waiting for our order to be cooked the girl serving looked over at me and tried the stare and glare look, I initially smiled at her but she continued to just glare at me. I mentioned to my husband who had also witnessed this. We waited about 15 minutes for our food and my husband had asked how long it was going to be. Its frying was her response. Once cooked she said "there you go" but didn't even look at us, so rude. We won't be returning, there are much friendlier establishments in Thetford

Very clean environment to walk into. 2 doors to enter shop (must have a way in and out). It wasn't busy when I arrived so my service was excellent and quick. Ordered Fish and Chips with mushy peas (Lovely).Well worth a visit but I understand it's cash only so please be aware.

Best fish and chips I've tasted in a long time, just like the good old days
