Norfolk Terrier Pub in Breckland

Place has been recently refurbished and was clean tidy and welcoming. Staff were helpful to a point and also welcoming2 stars dropped as I had ordered GF burger that arrived not as described (naked and with salad vs. Bun with chips). As a Coeliac I was skeptical so checked, glad I did as there must have been confusion somewhere. Need to improve allergen understanding...if that was a peanut allergy things would have been v.different. Rest of food was spot on - worth a visit for non-coeliacs IMOManager was good tho and refunded me!

Warm, welcoming, friendly and affordable. The hosts here are so genuine and fun, you will regret not spending more time. Meals, drinks and entertainment are all well above what one would expect and, if you are a group looking for somewhere to hold your next event, this establishment goes above and beyond to make sure all of your guests are sated. Don't forget, your girlfriends are welcome here also, with treats and water on offer for them too.

The girl who greeted us was nice and was apologetic for their mistake. We booked 1 week ago but they said our booking was not on their system. We were asked to wait and could only get seated if another booking for a table of 4 didn't show up. We were not offered a round of complimentary drinks for their error whilst we waited. Luckily, they didn't show so we got seated. There was no beef left at 1.30pm which seemed really early to have run out. My partner then had to get turkey but then they had no cranberry sauce to go with it so that was disappointing. My veg tart would have been nicer if the sides weren't very hard. Pieces flew off my plate whilst cutting! My stuffing ball was also burnt and hard on one side. The cauliflower cheese tasted more like milky sauce than a cheese sauce. The peas, carrots and brocolli stems were nice. Could have been worse but could have been better.

What a fantastic place. Our dog was made so welcome. Dog treats and fresh water. The staff are amazingly friendly to 4 legged furry friends and humans alike. Food fantastic. Staff seemed like one big happy family. Definitely recommend. Best place we've been to.

Looks great after the refurb. A really comfy place to eat. Food is fairly priced and tasty. They are doing new things all the time like live music nights.

The pub has been done up really nicely after the refurb and looks great. Drinks and service were fine.But food wasn't great. Took an hour for our meal to come. The mashed potatoe was crispy on top where it appeared to have sat under the hot lights to keep it warm. The pie looked great until I opened it up to find 2 and a half bits of meat. The rest was all gravy. Tasted fine . . But couldn't really be classed as a meat pie with so little meat in it.

Looks amazing ! Great staff and lovely food and drinks. Definitely have to book though as they are popular !It was a shame to see some people getting grumpy with the staff because they hadn’t booked a table. It’s lovely to see this place being run well again and a great community pub.

Lovely local pub. Glad to see it open again, with friendly staff and great food and drinks range too.Well worth booking though as they are very popular, so can’t expect to just turn up and get a table.Will be visiting often.

Says they have vegan things on the menu but hardly. Would be really nice to give my vegan friend a choice rather than just a salad or hot and spicy burger. Please consider others with severe allergies or beliefs.

I've just had my first Sunday roast in the terrier since it reopened after a total face lift, ive got to say it was really nice.. thank you to Chris and Louise and your team. I really hope you do well.
