On walking in i thought it looked a bit run down, but the food was amazing and the staff were lovely, i would go back.

Absolutely fantastic! The staff are lovely and the food is delicious. And so reasonably priced too. Definitely recommend the Vodka paddle (pic attached) where you have to guess the flavours. A hidden gem well worth the walk up the stairs!

Amazing food, the duck was amazing the pudding was a awesome ending dessert.

Always had a good meal here. Propriatress very helpful. Service never rushed, food lovely and hot.

Visiting family so mixed age group at the table. Salmon and Pork special were ace. Lamb was tasty but probably needed mash rather than saute potatoes to soak up the gravy. Veggie ravioli could do with fried onions in top (like perogi) but were well made. Cheese board is very good....but none of that matters a jot because there is traditional Honey Torte. Go have it.

One of the best and quirkiest dining experiences I've ever had. Do not be put off by the entrance, this place is a true hidden gem. Some of the best food I've ever eaten. You simply must go

Delicious food, with very generous portions. The nibbles were too good to be left, which didn’t leave me enough room to finish the main course. Highly recommend

I've been to Russia and I would say this restaurant is quite realistic! From the slightly dodgy entrance, to the 'sombre' welcome, to the decor, to the unironed tablecloths. Food was good and reasonably priced. In fact the restaurant is so realistic they don't even have a card machine and I had to walk to the nearest ATM to get the cash to pay my bill.
