Thai Dereham in Breckland

Had a lovely Thai meal from here as takeaway last night. The salt and pepper squid starter was lovely as was the sizzling special mixed stir fried sea food. We also had pineapple fried rice and crab fried rice which in all honesty, one fried rice is enough between two people, very nice though. We ordered and collected within 30mins which was great for a Saturday night although struggled to find parking as we are on holiday. Bit expensive for takeaway but to be honest if we had dined in I wouldn’t have questioned it. If your in the area give it a try 👍

The best place to eat in Dereham. Have been a few times now and the food and service each time has been excellent. It is 100% the best restaurant in Dereham.

Superb takeaway. From ordering via delivery to eating.Piping hot food. Tastes very fresh.One of the best I’ve ever had.Chicken green curry was very good as was duck with ginger and weeping tiger.Sorry no photos as ate it all before thinking.

The food and service were largely good, however everything (except the starters) was quite sweet and this was a bit too odd for us with a pad Thai.The duck spring rolls and chicken satay were especially delicious and the chicken Penang curry and red duck curry were good, if a bit on the sweet side. The jasmine rice was decent too and in the main portion sizes were generous. We opted for a vegetable pad Thai and it was frankly too sweet - we were drinking coke too, so it was especially notable. We didn't eat it and raised the issue with the serving staff, but were told that this was to be expected with a pad Thai, which was a first for us!The price was reasonable, but we wouldn't visit again.

A big thank you to Mark, Gareth and all the team who work so hard to provide us with the incredible service and amazing food in these very difficult times. Just had another very tasty takeaway from Thai Dereham. The food is always so fresh, extremely tasty and hot when delivered. It's not quite the restaurant experience but with the help of Alexa playing some Thai music in the background, it's nearly there. Keep up the good work guys. Stay safe.Dave and Joanne

Went here by chance. What a super find. Not only was the food so flavoursome the portion sizes were most satisfying. Staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a trip to Dereham to eat at this delightful restaurant.. wish I just lived a little closer. Did ask if they could extend their takeaway delivery service to a 50 Mike radius but guess that pushing it. Thank you.

Amazing food, grey value. All you can eat freshly cooked food at £ 15.95 per person. Only on Sunday nights, and always fully booked... Been backed here many times!

Decided to visit this place after looking at the reviews. Personally, I feel that the food was generally salty.. the Penang curry was too sweet for my liking.. the jungle curry (vegetable) was alright, has lots of ingredients.. I don’t find a lot of eggs in the egg fried rice tho but taste alright.. they had serve my drunken egg noodle without prawns while the order was with prawn, but they did change it for me after I notified them.I think I had a higher expectation for Thai food, as the one we tried in Wymondham was much nicer..
