Good food, cosy atmosphere in the pub section and restaurant section alike. Often have specials. Large portions so won’t go hungry even if you have a big appetite. Staff are friendly. No draught soft drinks is the only down side - all bottled or canned fizzy drinks.

Cosy pub with friendly staff serving good choice of well kept real ales from local breweries and good food in sizeable portions.

Called in for a Sunday roast. Really excellent. Landlord and staff were welcoming and ambience was great. Food was top notch. We had a starter and roast beef. Good service and brought extra gravy without asking. Value was very good. Will be back!

Went for a last minute dinner with my partner and toddler this time, but have been a few times before with the family. Good service, with staff always friendly and willing to go out of their way to help. Food is reasonably priced, and portions are always decent. Burgers are nice, and the roasts on a Sunday are good too. Definitely recommended.

Great pub. Friendly staff and great atmosphere especially when the fire is lit. Food is superb.

Great place , food and beer . Quite remote location, and superb to come into during the winter. Nice to sit outside in the summer .

First class traditional pub with seven hand-pulled ales and some prestige lagers.Helpful bar staff, a comfortable lounge bar and a quality menu.All good pubs regularly have their usual suspects and this one is no exception. The "crac" is entertaining and informative.Love it!!

Love this old pub. A proper old country pub which sits on it's own on the road. Hasn't been messed about with and changed into something else but is just a proper place. Clean tidy and respectable. Great outdoor area and field etc. Likely to be sat there in the evening and share the place with horse riders too who stop for a drink as well. Great character place.
