Really good. We had just arrived in the area for a short holiday and were looking for a nice place to eat. It is really homely here and there is a good selection of hearty food on the menu. A good selection of beers as well, the one I had was delicious. The landlord was very friendly and the service was excellent, can't fault it!

Called in for a Sunday roast. Really excellent. Landlord and staff were welcoming and ambience was great. Food was top notch. We had a starter and roast beef. Good service and brought extra gravy without asking. Value was very good. Will be back!

Went for a last minute dinner with my partner and toddler this time, but have been a few times before with the family. Good service, with staff always friendly and willing to go out of their way to help. Food is reasonably priced, and portions are always decent. Burgers are nice, and the roasts on a Sunday are good too. Definitely recommended.

Good food, cosy atmosphere in the pub section and restaurant section alike. Often have specials. Large portions so won’t go hungry even if you have a big appetite. Staff are friendly. No draught soft drinks is the only down side - all bottled or canned fizzy drinks.

Great place , food and beer . Quite remote location, and superb to come into during the winter. Nice to sit outside in the summer .
