Good car park. Located just off A11 perfect for a stop off or for meeting friends. Lots of food to choose from at reasonable prices. Restaurant coffee lounge or bar to choose from if sitting indoors but there is a lovely big patio to eat and drink outdoors

As ever, a lovely meal. Really tasty and good sized portions. Bar/waiting staff were helpful and friendly. We wanted to eat in the coffee lounge but it was full up, so ended up in the bar seating area. Never fails to maintain its high standard.

Really like The Stag. Very close to where we live. Good friendly service. Good, honest food which was well cooked and presented. Very accommodating for wheelchair users. We had two people with us who had hearing aids and they were a little overwhelmed by the acoustic and struggled to hear anything! Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

First time I've been since it has re-opened after being rebuilt (not for want of trying...it is always fully booked when we have phoned!). I wasn't disappointed. The carvery is just as good as I remember! I hope to be back soon!

What fantastic service! - I called ahead to The Stag to see if they had any availability for Sunday lunch during the week and was told that they were fully booked, but that we could still sit in the bar if we got there early enough as it was first come first served. When we turned up at 11:30 there were customers finishing off breakfast but the staff cleared a table as soon as one became available for us. They were very attentive and made sure it was clean and could seat all of us. My mum joined us soon after and even though she was ordering off of the bar menu they ensured that our carvery lunch and her food arrived at the same time. The chef even took our sons plates back to our table in the bar so they didn’t drop them or have to hold the hot plates which was very thoughtful.Food was brilliant and we will certainly visit again soon!

This little gem is right on our doorstep, always drive past but never got round to stopping. Today we stopped and so glad we did. They were really busy and we hadn't booked but they found space for us. Really quick service even though they were busy, and service with a smile. Carvery was delicious and I ate way too much!! Brownie for dessert was AMAZING. Definitely be returning!

Stopped in here for a light breakfast. Can't comment too much as we only had porridge and bacon roll between us and the food was nice. Staff seemed a bit off and didn't say thanks as we left even though we had said thanks etc - just find that a bit odd for customer service. Other then that would recommend.

Love this place. Very clean with a light and airy decor, you can see they have invested significantly in making the place as covid secure as possible. Excellent staff and an awesome carvery. Very much recommended.

A fantastic pub atmosphere with nice clean decor with a touch of cosy. The burger I had was amazing and there was incredibly fast service and friendly staff. Would come back in a heart beat.
