The Chase in Breckland

Food was good. Pub was busy and the one staff member on bar doing brilliantly taking orders and doing drinks. She warned 30-45 min wait so was expected. Some new summer offerings ond of which I had and was good. As always good value for money.

Absolutely 109% very highly recommended. Food was piping hot excellent meal and the staff was amazing. Well worth a visit. Even my 82 year old was very impressed and believe me that takes an awful lot to do. So very well deserved 5***.

We tried this pub again after not been for a long time..but we were disappointed...My husbands chicken breast did not look like chicken..looks like made up something to look like chicken..so he did not eat that...both food was just warmish..dirty plates and glasses are on empty tables..we had to clear up the table we chose..no one offered to wipe it clean, it was sticky we had to clean it up with the alcohol gel and tissue we have..so we decided not to go back..shame really as we are locals

Very mixed. Nice atmosphere and quick service. Most of the food was ok but my grilled chicken was undercooked, fatty and although probably was not, looked processed. Disappointing that something that looked so obviously uncooked could be served. Mentioned to a nice waitress but did not want to make an issue as did not want chicken V2. Oh....and my wife reminded me....both meals were barely warm, not hot.

All three of us had a different main course and each meal was rated good. We had not booked in advance but had no problems finding a table. My only complaint was that there is no choice of steak apart from rump. However, it was not too tough as rump steak can be and it was well presented on a sizzling plate.

The staff are amazing, friendly, chatty and even go the extra mile. The food is great and the atmosphere is lovely. My family and go at least 2-5 times a week as its good value for money. You have an amazing team keep up the good work.

Nice atmosphere. Manager is very good at his job. He has great customer care and was very good with the staff also. Lovely man. He knows prices of absolutely everything, without even having to look the price up. I was very impressed.

Great place to eat, staff fabulous, service fabulous. Had steak ruddles and ale pie, mashed potatoes and peas, the photo is what I thought of it lolThank you to the staff for a terrific lunch.

Friendly staff. Visited mid morning and some breakfast items were not as hot as others, as if had been kept warm since breakfast. Very clean and airy. Make sure you register your car number plate. Will visit again.
