Where is The Coffee Shop Dutch Barn Nursery?

🏠 The St, Blo' Norton, Diss IP22 2JB

"A local plant nursery with coffee shop, selling annuals, cottage garden plants and shrubs. Home grown plants, a quirky nursery where you are best to wander and choose, rather than turn up with a list! We have a reputation for being lower priced than other local outlets, and our plants are home grown and healthy. Set in the tranquil countryside, we have a small shop selling gardening sundries, a craft shed and gifts/greetings cards. The coffee shop has 'real' coffee, home made cakes and light lunches, there is indoor and garden seating available. Why not cycle over? We are very cycle friendly, with specific parking for two wheels :-)"

Wow. What a gem. Lovely little cafe. Very reasonable. Really interesting plant nursery too. Worth a visit for either really, but a nice coffee and cake plus a few bits for the garden was perfect for us.

I really loved the shop and all the art and little bits they have in the cafe and garden store. I have serious underline health conditions and not able to wear a face masks, my partner was wearing hers and a lady came over and asked can I put one on. I said sorry I'm exempted and from there onwards I was made to feel uncomfortable and out of place. her and a customer was speaking loudly about people not wearing on and how they are just lazy that they have no respect for people and that isn't the case! I'm not able and it's unfair and wrong that you target me for looking healthy and not wearing one. If I could I would but I have serious breathing problems and damaged lungs

What a fantastic little place , came across it by chance but what a find . The food was second to none the staff were so friendly and helpful the homemade cake my partner had was so light and fluffy she’s not stopped raving about it !! Would definitely recommend anyone to go out of their way to visit if near by .Excellent value for money too for the quality of food and service you receive. Well done Beehive not sure where the other lady went but sure it wasn’t there !!

Don't bother ripped off, sandwich ridiculously small and lemon cake just sponge with thick layer of sugar on top. The only decent thing was the two coffees and bottled orange juice. I did complain but fell on deaf ears, charged over £19!

Friendly staff and great outdoor seating. Excellent toasted sandwiches and good range of cakes. Will definitely return.

Stopped here while on a bike ride with the lads and was pleasently suprised by this little gem.I appreciate that most people won't care, but for the cyclists.....there's a storage shed at the back specifically to keep your bikes in. Thats a plus in my books already. The new 2020 norm of social distancing was upheld with tables being seperated by the required distance and larger number group split over 2 tables. The cheese scone i had on this occasion tasted great.Highly recommend

Lovely relaxed atmosphere and ideal when the weather is hot to sit in the garden to enjoy some refreshment. I find the staff are always very friendly! The choice of menu is usually limited after 1 o'clock. It is nice to take a stroll around the nursery and have a look at the different plants for sale and there is also a small selection of gifts for sale. Well worth a visit.☀

Love visiting this cafe from time to time, the food is delicious but agree with other poster who mentions food runs out quite quickly. Which is a great sign for how yummy the food is but shame when you miss out lol. We also very much enjoy the garden centre there too, its one of my favourite places to visit and I'm often about .I really do recommend this place but I could also say that sometimes there is quite a long wait at busy periods. Which they will notify you at the time.
