The CRown Hotel in Breckland

Our 2nd stay here with our dog Hamish. It's a very relaxed place and is ideally situated a short drive from the Desert Rats memorial which is a great place to walk.

Staying over one night for a gig in the Forest. Can’t fault the attentive and proactive bar staff who saved us so much stress by mentioning the shuttle bus! It’s a lovely pub with great bar food and beer. The room itself was more of a bed sit with a fridge and kitchenette which was most welcome. Great shower too.Would of given 5 stars if they had nailed the breakfast but even though it was delicious, it arrived 30 mins after ordering and they forgot the toast. But overall would fully recommend, had an enjoyable stay and will return.

Very nice hotel. Affordable, good rooms, and very friendly and helpful service. Really good restaurant and excellent breakfast.

Was lovely, on arrival we were met by a great lad named Harrold, he served us drinks before showing us to the room. Hurt my knee on the foot board of the bed, limped for days ... otherwise good

We stopped at The Crown Hotel for lunch after a walk. It was delicious, the garden is beautiful and the service was fantastic. We will definitely visit again.

We stayed for one night and that was enoughThe room would benefit from a good deep clean and some money spent on it to bring it up to a good standard the duvets and pillows were so thin and cheepWe had an evening meal which was nice but we ordered a lovely bottle of white wine which was served to us at room temperature in a cooler 30 mins before it was anywhere near drinkable also one of the 2 glasses brought to drink out of was filthy and had to ask for a clean oneBreakfast was cold apart from the eggs and poor qualityThe staff were very friendly but bar staff were unorganised and forgetfulWould not stay here again

Went for Sunday lunch. Accommodated 8 of us plus our dog at short notice. The staff were friendly & cheery, and, also working hard!! This was a very busy Sunday lunch service for them but you wouldn't have known. Food delivered in a timely manner and delicious. Well done to all at The Crown!

My Room was a little small and didn't have a mini fridge or microwave. The hotel staff was amazing, the city was tiny but felt homey and the people were amazing. Good area for great price.

Passed the place many times, or should I say passed the sign, but this time followed the lane and found a lovely pub and village. Only had time for a quick drink but the pub was busy and food was being served. Seemed to be full of locals.

We had a Boxing Day lunch here as a large family group with a baby. The food and drink selection, quantity and quality was excellent. The price was very reasonable. The decor was lovely and the atmosphere was very relaxing. It made for a very happy family occasion. Will definitely return.
