The Fox at Lyng in Breckland

Had a lovely time at this pub. The staff were really lovely and attentive. The decor is really nice and good access to the bar. The food was very tasty but the portions were ridiculously large. I can normal eat a huge amount of food but this was excessive and I didn't have space for dessert! The good news is that I could take my leftovers away for lunch the next day!

Very friendly staff and lovely garden tables. Excellent value for money - Sunday roasts...Great veg and good presentation. Take a walk down to the river and mill and see some fantastic fish - the big some ones are amazing!!

Had a wonderful meal (four of us). Good food at reasonable prices in a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Our first time visiting this pub, and won't be the last. Highly recommended.

A great pub with loads of really nice food and drink options - including some very tasty (and large!) vegan ones. The staff were super friendly and attentive and everyone in our party was in agreement that we can’t wait to go back!

Great little pub, although it isn't little.It has plenty of seating inside & out.We have just got home from eating there.We had 3 courses & can't fault anything.Also very polite & friendly service.Will definitely be back soon 👍

I am not familiar with Lyng but whilst out walking on the Wensum way we stumbled across the Fox. After stopping just for a coffee or a quick pint the food looked very inviting so we decided to have lunch. The staff were friendly and helpful and it is a lovely atmospheric pub. The food was delicious, fresh and more than plentiful. In fact we were so full from the huge portions they boxed up the leftovers for us for later on. It really is a delightful pub and we will be sure to return. Thanks to all the staff.

My wife and I decided to visit for Sunday lunch.We hadn't visited for many months due to covid.The roast we had was fantastic.So much food all piping hot and at a good price.The staff are all lovely and nothing was too much trouble.We will not wait so long before returning again.ThanksColin

We booked the day before and had lunch on the last Saturday in January. The reception was friendly and efficient with COVID temperature checks at the door. The service was excellent and the menu varied and tempting with portion sizes extremely generous. Highly recommended.

Absolutely great place. It was our second visit to The Fox . The food was amazing , big portions , excellent quality and most of all the young man that served us was absolutely brilliant. So efficient ,very friendly and nothing too much trouble in fact he made us feel like we were the only people he was serving. It is a little bit out of the way in regards to location but it would be hard to beat in terms of the food and service.

Had The best evening. The food was amazing and the staff were so accommodating. An extra thank you to Rachael and Tilly for being exceptional hosts and waitresses. Will definitely be coming again next time in Norfolk❤️
