Felt home from home, also good base for visiting places. The room we had over looked the village green and the lovely historic church.

·

Lovely rooms and experience but breakfast is a shame as the table are not laid and its awkward as you go searching through the cupboard s to find things. Also be aware you have to pay extra for a cooked breakfast for the cost this should be included. Which is a shame as it in a lovely place with nice walks and views.

Very hospitable and the food was good. Rooms very cosy and the showers have very warm water. The whole place was immaculate. Great experience

Lovely, quiet, cozy little place. It's in the middle of a little village in the middle of nowhere. Really, really quiet.Room and bathroom very spacious, clean and tidy, bed very comfy.Bar well stocked and owner very friendly.Tap water in rooms undrinkable but plenty of water bottles provided to make drinks with, so this was not a problem.Free continental breakfast provided, cooked full english breakfast is extra. We had to leave early due to illness and are already planning our next trip back there.

We have just had the most lovely relaxing three nights staying at the The Great Danes Inn Beachamwells. We were made very welcome on arrival by Mrs Gransden. Our room slept three and was very spacious airy and light with a big shower room ensuite, we had our small dog with us who was made welcome and even given a treat on arrival. I believe that there are only a couple of rooms that are for visitors with dogs and these are on the ground floor with a garden. Our room was clean, if a little dated and as a personal preference I prefer white cotton sheets. The continental breakfast was anything but, it offered so much more!! All free to help yourself and with the added bonus of poached or scrambled eggs. The cooked breakfast was very well presented and set us up for the day and nothing was too much trouble. The evening meals were all home made and delicious and my husband assured me that the bar was well stocked and the beer very good. We will definitely like to stay there again.

Very quiet Inn. Friendly and welcoming hosts , in a beautiful little village. Within 30 mins to Thetford forest where we attended a concert.

Lovely little inn out in the country side. I stayed over one night while on a business trip. The proprietor is very warm and friendly. The décor is nice and quaint. The dinner/lunch menu is a little low on choice but the food is very good. Breakfast options are plenty with cereals , toast etc or "full English" if you want (I did) .Free Wi-Fi everywhere though the signal in the adjacent house (where I stayed) was quite weak.

We were very lucky that the landlady had booked us in to this b&b on the wrong date...therefore could not fit us in. No apology forthcoming and suggestion that we sleep in her sons room and he would have the floor somewhere even with the offer to change the sheets was just not good enough. The photos are misleading the place is very dingy and dark and as others have said the bar was not due to open till 7 that night. We feel we had a very lucky escape.

For a country escape, this is ideal, the room was comfortable and had a good size bathroom, try the sirloin steak fantastic, the place is rather quite but its Norfolk. Time to relax.
