Very very good lasagne - and cider that was perfect after a long walk.

Lovely pub and a lovely area

Really nice little pub, everyone was very friendly on our first visit, and our dog was welcomed. Looking forward to the pie weekend in a couple of weeks.

Best pub in Norfolk clean fun place good very good food. Dog friendly . And children friendly. Darts pool. Great staff. Good service. A really nice young family run pub. Go now. You will not be disappointed. And they have some very nice ale. Just look at the 5star s people have been given by members of public. There not wrong.

A breath of fresh air! Perfect village pub. Cheap, large portions of well done pub staples like steak, ham egg and chips, steak and ale pie etc. Fab range of beers and ales, great service, friendly staff. This pub offers serious value for money. Will be visiting again most definitely !! Lovely x

Worst pub ive ever been to regarding food. Menu had about 5 very simple items, ie chips was one of them and whitebait was another. But there was at least a specials board, but oh, none of the food was available. Wasted my time completely. I didnt bother eating.

I had a fantastic time visiting the Eagle in Hockham - a quintessentially English country pub in a beautiful village in Norfolk. Aaron the barman was really friendly and welcoming when I came in. The pub has just opened a new courtyard and it looks great; good food and a nice selection of beers. I haven't been (going next time) but there's also a quiz night every fortnight.
