The Lodge in Breckland

I’ve not tried the food, but I popped in on my way to Norwich because I needed to drop a log and they were very accommodating. Five stars.

Phoned The Stag at 7.30pm to see if there was a remote change of getting a table for ten people, the staff were absolutely brilliant, they managed to squeeze us in for 8.15pm and we all had delicious meals. I can’t thank you enough for saving the day as it was my birthday and I was let down big time by another establishment.

Restaurant wonderful. Carvery excellent at a fair price. Comfortable, no pressure, good atmosphere.

Went for late lunch on Sunday. Plenty of food choices, carvery excellent too. Warm, friendly atmosphere and social distancing just right. Staff friendly and efficient. We shall return!!!

Food was excellent, decor was great.people so friendly, both sides of the counter. Go, and see it for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Food was nice but the waitress needed to cover her ar$e...the length of her skirt was putting us off our meal. Had I wanted to see Beef Curtains, I would have ordered it. Gross quite honestly. Otherwise good .

The room was spacious, well designed and comfortable. Good sized shower and cosy bed. Very quiet. We didn't needto use the restaurant, but the room facilities were excellent and the staff were very friendly. Car park security was alsoappreciated. Wi-Fi access was good.Car Park could have been improved by a Electric Vehicle charging Point for residents of the Hotel.

We used the coffee lounge which was easy to access and very nicely turned out. Staff were very pleasant and curtious. Menu had enough choice. I had chilli and chips and was very nice, chilli had some heat to it rather than the bland efforts from elsewhere. Loads of parking but limited disabled slots. Would definitely visit again.

We ate on Thursday evening for the first time in the carvery. From arrival, being met and checked at the car park entrance, to the reception where our temperatures were taken to the very spacious dining area we felt totally safe and reassured. The meal was excellent with perfectly cooked meats and an amazing choice of beautifully cooked vegetables. All the staff were so professional and made us feel welcome. Well done Breckland Lodge we will return.
