I took my wife here for a special meal as we hadn't been out for a long time as a lot of us have dew to Covid. When we arrived we were greated by a young lady who was very Pleasant who took use to our table. We were given a complimentary drink to start with while we looked at the menu. It was nice and relaxed we didn't feel rushed at all. I ordered a bottle of wine for us and when it arrived the lady poured a glass for us with out letting me taste first which isn't the end of the world but when the table behind us had theirs brought to the table he got to taste first. Which I was quite put out about really ALL SHOULD BE TREATED THE SAME am I not right? Our starters came out and they were beautiful so nice a real treat. A while later our mains came out my wife's was lovely so full of flavor. Mine was ok to start with but as I got into it it was very salty. You may be asking why didnt I say something two reasons I didn't want to make a fuss and spoil my date with my wife and secondly if the chef was having a bad night which we all do now and then he didn't need telling about. All in all we had a nice night but not sure if we would go back. But I would say try if you haven't been as it is a lovely place.

Not only the best restaurant in Thetford but undoubtedly one of the best in Norfolk. Food was amazing, as good as we have had anywhere in Norfolk, such a lovely intimate atmosphere and a lovely owner/host. We will definatley be going back and highly recommend it to anyone.

Second time this month. Mid week twixt Christmas and New Year so understandably a tad lack lustre in ambiance. Service was good as before, Thank you.Co diner commented that description of Goats cheese starter 'salad ' was misleading as it is a garnish however other choices as delicious and well prepared as those of previous visit to this oasis of good food in Breckland.

Excellent Meal and Service.Just opposite the Carnegie Room this restaurant was very convenient and came highly recommended. From the moment you walk in you are greeted and shown to your table. They remember exactly what you have ordered, you are offered drinks and they are served promptly even though the restaurant was almost full.Staff wear masks and the tables are nicely distanced. The food comes hot and freshly cooked, excellently prepared and tasty.Table is cleared efficiently and dessert is brought to you in a timely manner. At no time do you need to keep trying to attract the attention of staff like so many restaurants because they are attentive.I was able to obtain the bill and lay swiftly.Good value and excellent food.Smart clean restaurant comfortable and clean toilets too.It was only at the end of the meal I realised there was no music which meant we could relax and have a conversation without having to shout over background or what seems to be the norm these days foreground music.A perfect start to the evening, looking forward to returning to this wonderful restaurant.

Linda spotted it and we decided to book it for a meal as it was the last evening of our holiday. We come from Telford in Shropshire. Staff were very welcoming and then showed us to our table. Not an extensive menu but about half a dozen choices for each course. My wife chose lamb chops and I had a pasta dish with sausage. We had bread whilst waiting for our main and enjoyed a glass of wine. The mains came and the lamb chops were the biggest I'd ever seen. The desserts were delicious also and we had a great night to round off the holiday. Highly recommended restaurant. Well done.

Absolutely delicious, outstanding and leaves you just fascinated. This is hands down some of the best food I've ever had in a restaurant. The young pork chop was divine, the cheese melted on top with the perfectly cooked veg, just left me wanting more. I would go back just to experience the food again. Would 100% reccomend any day.

Absolutely superb, such a special place - food and service are second to none, I would give 10 stars if I could.A very relaxing atmosphere as soon as you walk in, attentive and helpful service, staff ensure you have a very special evening.Food is absolutely spectacular, The Mulberry more than deserve Michelin status. So fresh and expertly flavoured. The fish is stunning!Last night was a French theme night, we had great fun decorating the table cloth - things like that really make this place special and stand out, and very much make me want to return and recommend to others.Overall, A* restaurant - this is so special and like no other, a real gem and somewhere I have very happy memories of.(Parking is free and easy, just a short walk too!)
