First visit in many years. Very good menu, with g f options available which was perfect for one of us. Great service in a lovely setting. Definitely be back

Was looking to have lunch, however as they opened, a member of staff very rudely stated that they were to busy opening up to take orders at that time, and we'd have to come back and see if they could do it later ( they suggested an hour)So we went elsewhere, and had a much more pleasant experience in another pub.

Excellent food, nice atmosphere. Friendly and pleasant staff.

We had the ladies afternoon tea today and apart from the sandwiches nothing else was hand made it all appeared to be store bought and put on plates. The tea was lovely but no other milk available than cows milk !It definitely needs work and not worth what we paid

·

Very good food decent portions . Good beer. Nice place opposite a river. Quite popular. Had the venison burger with skinny fries.

"Uncle, my burger tastes of blood". We were a group of 20 and placed our order days before at the request of the restaurant. Of the 20 meals, all 4 meals of "Dirty Burgers" were raw as you can see from the photo - and the burgers are thin so there is no excuse, 4 other meals were stone cold (cooked but had been left on the pass at least 10 minutes, the mousakka was in an enamel tin but still cold all the way through), all the pie meals arrived but the gravy 5 minutes later. It is clear the kitchen are unable to cope despite having pre-ordered everything. The steaks and seabass were fine, presumably the last thing cooked. The serving staff were very good, and the horrified look when we showed them the burgers said everything - they genuinely cared and were as shocked as we were. 3 burger meals were removed from the bill but only the servers apologised, there was no apology from management.

Friendly, helpful staff. Delicious freshly cooked food, served promptly. We sat outside but inside is very pleasant with some comfy sofa's and well spaced tables.

Held my Mum's wake here. Starting from the beginning, it was easy to book. The room was large and beautiful. The funeral was held at St. Edmund's Church in Taverham, so the Swan in Ringland was really easy for my guests to get to.On the day, the food was good and the staff were helpful. A TV was set up and I brought in a USB stick with photos of Mum on, which displayed on the TV. There was a speaker there which I bluetoothed to my phone to play our own music. It was really good. There was a children's play area that my 2 children and husband disappeared to for a long time. Apparently they really enjoyed it, even though they did get a couple of splinters.I would highly recommend this place, and will certainly be thinking of using it in future!

Have eaten there twice recently on Steak night, food and service has been excellent. However the pop music on the sound system was annoying and got louder later on. Seems out of character with the lovely traditional pub atmosphere.

Absolutely spot on with their social distancing/restrictions and access in & out.The atmosphere and the interior is lovely. The food was really good and the four of us enjoyed our meals. Staff were all lovely and friendly too.Looking forward to more meals out there.
