The Waggon & Horses in Breckland

Pub appeared a little rough round the edges, but that's because it's an authentic local. The food was excellent and generous. It ranged from the best curry I've had outside an Indian restaurant, a huge tasty burger we couldn't finish between us and a sublime salmon dish. Will go again, but will skip breakfast that morning.

The squeaky burger and venison burger were both VERY good - did find the BBQ sauce a tad too much, but just my taste - overall it was great!

Great food, traditional and wholesome. (The portions are also huge!) The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful.

Excellent meal at the weekend. Very friendly helpful waitresses, endless patience with my elderly parents. Food was very good, plenty of choice and clean loos!

We visit regularly and always have a wonderful time. The staff are incredibly welcoming and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and are happy. The food is of great quality and is always thoroughly enjoyed by all. Would definitely recommend.

Went to the Wagon and Horses second time with a week. Last week took our daughter this week our son. Our son wanted to try venison. Where else would you go.The service was beyond excellent. All three of us had amazing dishes. I could not manage dessert.The landlord was welcoming, and talkative and made us all so welcome.Will make this our place to eat in the Breckland / Watton area.

From the moment we stepped in everyone was so accommodating and friendly.The tables were cleaned every time someone left and the loos were spotless.The food was so good and there was so much of it. Spoiled for choice.When my husband mentioned that he couldn't see custard on the hot desert menu choice he was told it wasn't a problem, they would do some. When he wanted his roast sirloin well done rather than their usual medium rare, this posed no problem.Will definitely be returning.Thanks for a relaxing dining experience.
