Thetford Garden Centre in Breckland

Clean shop that's easy to navigate and friendly staff. Section for locally made products such as jams and sweets, with a large outdoor section with pots and plants. Also a pet section with toys, aquarium goods and treats.

New in area and first visit. Impressed with the outside! First impression FAB.. inside, great variety and choice. Staff really helpful. Definately worth a visit or 10!

Came for a Father’s Day breakfast. Very busy as you would expect. Service was still very good. Staff very friendly and polite. The food was very nice and didn’t take long to be served to us once ordered. Will definitely be going back. Many thanks

While not a big garden centre for plants it is a lovely place to come for a meal.The food here is amazing whether a big breakfast, afternoon tea, sandwiches or jacket potato.The menu has a number of vegan choices which are delicious.The cost is average, but good quality and portion size is generous.Staff are helpful and polite, they make you feel welcome despite it being very busy.You can buy garden equipment and machinery here as well as indoor plants and the usual outdoor plants. I found choice limited, but there are examples of the most popular plants.There is also a pet shop with aquarium and outdoor fish. They sell food for popular house pets.Much of the indoor area contains tasteful gifts, cards and books as well as a selection of garden seating and BBQs. They also have a small selection of clothing -joules and similar brands.I have only visited a couple of times since moving locally, but felt that the staff would be very helpful if you wanted something specific.

Not the cheapest of places, but you get a good range of gifts inside and a wide range of plants outside. The restaurant is worth a visit, but can get crowded at busy times. I can recommend the bacon Waldorf sandwich. Bedding plants were lacking in variety but that could be because they had already sold out

The cafe seems to be one of the most popular places for miles around. I didn't try the meals but the coffee was good and the scones delicious. A bit on the expensive side (48 GBP for eco shorts?) for clothes and food but very clean, loads of staff so short waiting times. Worth a visit.

We had such a lovely visit today! Excellent selection in the garden centre which is huge and then a great lunch in the cafe, with fresh produce. Staff were super friendly, service was quick and they were very busy ! Dog friendly throughout - lots of parking - well worth a visit

I love the Thetford Garden Centre. One of the reasons we've decided to move to Thetford. Dog friendly garden centre and a dog friendly cafe, which is perfect. Just to cap it off they are licensed!

Went to the cafe. A few vegan options which is nice to see. The coffee was a bit bitter with oat milk. Just my opinion. Hence 4 rather than 5 stars

Brilliant place to go. Loads of interesting things to look at. The garden centre is well stocked and the ornaments are wonderful. Take a look at the dragon, it's magnificent even if you have to have deep pockets.
