Room was not really disability friendly and not easy access. Also the road outside was extremely busy and difficult to get in and out of. Staff were very good and friendly but the room let down their service.

I stop to use the ev charge i was so low and needed to get home. There was a car using it i went in to reception and there i met an angel maddie. So helpful foud the ower of the car and got him to let me use the charger. She was so help and so lovely a credit to the company. Plus a great smile. I like to thank her so much xxx

Beautiful quaint country hotel with a lovely dining area ideal for a private event. Food had good portions but a little bland in flavour although the service was exemplary.

Good: staff are friendly, rooms look great.Bad: does the worst breakfast, like literally it’s famous for it, the reviews on booking.com are full of complains. Hash browns like Gandhi’s flip flop, bacon was leathery and we avoided some of the other stuff. Also the continental 8 slices of ham in a big metal display was really weird.Rooms are obliterated by years of use, ok it antique and looks old but the 4 poster bed was literally balanced together. No joke.

This is by far the best place we have ever stayed in the UK for a hotel experience!! The staff are absolutely amazing! Dee, sue, Kelly to name a few, they are all amazing!! I've stayed here with my wife and 2 kids and I can honestly say that they have made us all feel so welcome!! De Rougemont Manor is full of history, with pictures dating back to 1900 and the original families who lived here. It has a fantastic heated swimming pool, a gym and even tennis courts! The grounds to walk around are truly lovely and even though you are so close to the city, you could be a million miles away! Thank you so much everyone! Lots of love the Petrou family. Xx

My stay was ok but the beds where so uncomfortable and the pillows were like bricks I went home after 2 nights with severe neck pain lol. The staff were hands down all so lovely and professional, they’re always there when you need something in a click of a finger, their room service was quick so no issues there. The down sides are that the rooms are a little dated and just need a little updating, I don’t think my stay was worth anything near what we paid. I laid in bed one night and early hours I felt as if someone was standing over my feet breathing quite heavily. I also heard mugs clinking by the kettle which was also just opposite the bottom of the bed. If you stay here please avoid room 124 this place is definitely haunted

This place is nice but in serious need of updating. The pool is lovely but falling apart and was really dirty. The beds and pillows were really hard and super uncomfortable, we didn't have a good night's sleep. Thankfully in the morning the breakfast staff were lovely and there was a good selection, although for the price I would have expected fresh bread and mushrooms that didn't come from a tin

From my 5 day stay I must admit for the price it wasn't worth it. From the pool paint pealing off its walls to the extremely run down tennis courts, it wasn't too pleasant of a stay.Pool:The pool is pealing paint and has a weird smell another of the people I went with also had the chlorine change her hair colour slightly to a slight green tinge.Tennis courts:As for the tennis courts the work fine, but they are extremely run down and any balls going over the low fences are officially gone.Spa:During my stay the spa wasn't open although From the outside it looked pretty OK.Room: for a family room we got it was OK we managed to get one with a jacuzzi bath although no instructions were given on how to operate it a simple call to reception sorted the problem. The beds were decent although the sofa beds could break the hulks spine in one night.Cleaning:Overall I was pretty good in the rooms although the hotel it'd self was in need of a decent clean. The staff who did the cleaning were brilliant and there was no fault at all with them.Staff: pretty good helped with almost everything.Included breakfast:A decent selection although could have more. Taste is OK.Dinner: amazing both nights we had food it tasted amazing. Although a little pricey.Overall I'd say if it was cheaper it would have been worth it.

Marvellous place in and incredible area. Nice staff, they helped out with everything and were really social. Food is much better than other hotels in the area. The gym is more than enough to have a good workout and the swimming pool was nice. Rooms are a little bit small but really comfy.

We got married here in June 2021. Our original date was June 2020 but we had to reschedule due to the pandemic. I really can't fault the staff and facilities. The venue worked well with all our suppliers and helped make the day run smoothly for us. We used their garden room for our ceremony and their dry hire venue for our evening reception. Both rooms are beautiful. The dry hire venue is a newly refurbished beautiful room with a glass roof. Our guests enjoyed the Italian gardens. We were blessed with a sunny warm days. The photos look fabulous. A huge thanks to all the staff! They were excellent and helped make our day really special.
