Had a meal here with my Dad and brother. The meat pie was the best I have ever had. Thoroughly recommend

A must visit if you want to taste the pie of your dreams. I’ve visited the Alma Arms three times now and each time the pies taste better and better. The service is also fantastic and everyone makes you feel right at home

Good food with large portions and extensive menu.Friendly efficient young staff served us.The homemade pies are superb.

·

The steak and Stilton pie is to die for. The chips are like mini logs crisp on the outside soft in the middle. The sponge puddings are enormous say no more....make your way there

·

Definitely recommend, Lovely choice of menu. Very Generous with their portions. Fantastic friendly service, especially Karl was very friendly and helpful. Thank you will definitely be returning.

Food was lovely, served in a good time and was nice hot food. The portion sizes were also very good. There are also many options on the menu for choice. We're going again today as it was a good first experience. Would recommend.

Great for Sunday lunch, especially if like me you have seniors in your family. Kids free zone which makes for a nice adult environment. Generous portion sizes, friendly staff. Lovely interior.

·

Great pub, good food, nice portions, lovely service, highly recommended.

Sunday Menu, I chose the Trio of Meats, (first time for me) Very Disappointing, one small piece of each meat, Roast spuds, fair, best bit was, it was hot. I've had far better, at half the price at other places. I'll stick to the meat pie in future.Would I have it again, NOWould I eat there again, Yes

Great local pub off the beaten path in the countryside. I really enjoy how the road is quiet as it enables you to have a drink outside without worry of road noise, or soot. It's a good pitstop for a cafe stop/tipple if you happen to cycle through the area. The place was quite busy with the locals dining. Service was friendly as well. They are a greene king pub so they primarily serve their beers. As a result you won't find lots of new world craft beer but find standard draught ales and commercial lagers.
