Costa Coffee in Brentwood

You know exactly what you will get from a Costa in advance, that's part of the attraction of the place. Good strong coffee, served in a variety of forms and some simple food, sandwiches or Mac n cheese and the like. The waiting staff here we're professional and quick, and there was plenty of room, inside and outside.All in all a familiar Costa experience for me, and no bad notes to mention. You get what you expect, and in this case that's a good thing.

I dread going here for my coffee - its just not the same as any other Costa branch. The staff are polite enough - but clearly understaffed to deal with people walking through the door / click n collect and deliveroo.... You might be standing there thinking there's only a couple of you in the queue. Not aware there's a huge backlog of online orders.

Very disappointed, coffee was good but unfortunately while waiting a young lady ordered on click and collect and was waiting patiently for her drink, there seemed to be confusion over the orders and was busy.The young lady asked for her coffee as she needed to collect her drink as her train was due in 7 minutes, well I was amazed at the response from a member of the Costa staff, a gentleman member of staff was shot down when he tried to help and said she would have to wait which would have meant the young lady would miss her train, so the young lady asked for a refund, the lady making the drinks told her she couldn't do a refund as it was ordered on click and collect and was very rude in telling her.If staff cannot be civil and have to be rude, when the customer was being polite and curtious they should not be In this environment

Not impressed today.... People issued coffee before me even though they ordered it after, and somehow a 'large cappuccino and medium americano' became a 'large americano and medium latte'..My only consolation is I wasn't the only one so, at least I had someone to talk to!!

great team work best coffee ever! Sami runs the place nice and smoothly. he’s got a loud personality that some people might not get but he’s a nice guy

Great coffee, Great Wifi and GREAT staff - super nice place to catch up on emails, meet friends or even a quiet hour alone to enjoy a good coffee.

My local Costa is the best . Friendly fun staff who work damn hard . It’s only small so gets rather busy so be prepared to order from the Costa app and jump the queue

I'm a local heating engineer in the Shenfield and Hutton areas I visit the Shenfield Costa coffee most days find the staff in this store very friendly and helpful the store always runs more smoothly when sami is in store and is always nice to him he's a lovely polite guy and a great asset to your business

This place is such a disaster 😆 3 members of staff providing a comedy sitcom style of service to a moderate to quiet demand. There are thousands of Costas in the UK, I've been to dozens of them.. this is easily the worst one. Make sure you have enough patience for it and don't be afraid to prompt staff if you've been waiting a while, what you've ordered has probably been forgotten about.

My opinion of this costa has completely done a 180! I love it in here it's very welcoming and the staff are extremely polite and friendly. Got a lovely cappacino today and had an all round pleasant experience. Kudos to Jordan for making an awesome drink and giving great customer service!
