Dusk in Brentwood

First time at Dusk last night was amazing! Such a beautiful venue with stunning decor and great staff! Our designated waiter was so accommodating and professional and ensured that we had a good time. Special shout out to Zack who made it extra special to make my sisters birthday more memorable! Music and ambience was 👌🏽and ended with a complimentary shisha, which was a hit for the shisha lovers. Also, Chef even came to ask if the food was ok?! Will visit again

Loved this place, we ordered a 5 course tasting menu, everything was delicious with abit of theatrical presentation. Adds drama and excitement to the meal. You can tell every course its well thought out. Our waiter was brilliant and even the chef came out to greet us. Which really added a special touch. Would highly recommend this place, we are definitely coming back and going to buy a meal here for my sisters anniversary as a gift. Fully halal menu and drinks served

𝗗𝘂𝘀𝗸 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱Last August, I won a £250 voucher to dine at Dusk. I was SO excited as it’s a place that has been on my list for a while but I wasn’t able to visit as children aren’t allowed, (probs should go on date nights with Hubby without the kids… ia one day). I decided to take the Nutters with me instead. Food is halal and no alcohol is served on the premise.Once seated, we were told we’d be sampling the 5 course tasting menu. Some of the dishes we tried were scrumptious!The Wagyu 2 ways as the name suggests is served two ways; hot and cold (they bring over the liquid nitrogen to cool the meat instantly).The meat was cooked beautifully, it literally melts in your mouth. The flavours worked so well together. I did prefer the hot version over the cold meat. Absolutely loved, loved this dish!The Kellogs cornflakes were a posh popcorn chicken, served with a really tasty sauce.The Campfire was sensational! The lamb chops were cooked perfectly, succulent, flavoursome and so delicious! The ghost reaper gravy was heavenly, I dipped everything into the gravy. The dish was luscious!I thought the desserts were ok.The service was great, they were very attentive. The restaurant had a live DJ, so it was extremely loud, to the point sometimes we couldn’t hear eachother, which was a shame. I’m not sure if they have music playing everyday though.Overall, we really enjoyed most of the dishes, food had an abundance of flavours and was cooked very well. By far the worst fine dinning restaurant I have been to.The restaurant was freezing cold and practically empty for a Friday evening. The effort was seen in the desperate decoration of food but total careless on quality of food. I cook far much better at home. Chef is over confident, fish was over cooked, chops were thin and not the best with a multi colour quarter bagel rock hard. Staff were attentive but shame about the overall service… I was looking forward to this place. We skipped dessert & tea, cancelled on sheesha as we realised the place is under graded.Has potential but owner needs to sort his menu out..not a fine dinning at all. Even disappointed is an understatement.

Probably the worst place I’ve been to. 7 of us went to the shisha lounge for a birthday meal on a Sunday. To start with, the place was freezing and there was a draft which made it even colder. Our booking was at 6:30 and none of the heaters were on. We were all freezing. We asked if we could have an extra heater near us as the place was empty except for another table next to us. The woman said no. The heaters were on wheels and could easily be moved but she said she won’t move it as it’s been put there for other customers. I asked if there were any other bookings to which she said no. No other customers turned up….The food was very basic, we ordered 5 spicy lamb smash burgers. There was nothing spicy about it?? I asked if there were jalepenos inside at least but there was nothing. A very bland burger. The lamb chops were flavourless but edible. The masala chips was basically chips smothered in a chilli ketchup sauce. The food went cold extremely quickly as it was freezing inside.The coke was watered down coke on tap, and came in a primary school cup. We were also refused tap water for some reason. Rather odd but apparently they don’t provide tap water. This is a first that I’ve heard in any restaurant, especially one that serves alcohol. Our bill came to £340+, definitely overpriced for the quality of food we received. £18 for a spicy smash burger that wasn’t spicy or smashed lamb and tastes better from your local kebab shop for a quarter of the priceOverall, a nice looking place but mediocre food and even worse service considering there were only 2 tables in the restaurant. I highly recommend not visiting in all honesty and probably the worst shisha lounge I’ve been to.

I was recommended this restaurant by a Client and I decided I would treat my Mother to Dinner. As we arrived we was welcomed with a warm greeting and our table was ready so we didn’t have to wait long to be seated. We choose the 5 course tasting menu which was exceptional. I really loved the creativity of the dishes. I would recommend ‘Enchanted’ the Rock tail lobster, my Mother who isn’t a Seafood fan absolutely loved it, it was that good. A special thanks to Chef Stephen who comes to your table and speaks to you to see how you are enjoying your dishes which was a real bonus for us. It felt as if we had our own personal Chef, such a warm person. Last but not least desert was ambrosial I could not fault it one bit. The price is very reasonable for fine dining, the Customer service from the Staff are all amazing they really go above and beyond and I have already made a reservation for me and my Husband’s 5 year Anniversary. Me and my partner went for a date night after more than a year and we were both really glad we chose this place as we were treated like royalty. The food was amazing, good portions and presentation was lovely. I honestly don’t understand some of the negative reviews because the service, food and everything was just 10/10. We are attended to often, to make sure that we were happy and everything was fine, so I can’t fault it. Would definitely go back!

10/10 experience start to end. Presentation was out of this world!!!! I would visit again just for the presentation experience as it was so magical however the food was also absolutely delicious. I had the 5 course taster meal. If you get the campfire try heating the chops on the fire for a few seconds. I’m still in awe. Staff were also 10/10. Can’t wait to go back ahhh. Went there for my anniversary and itbwas our first time out for a fine dining meal and I must say it was well worth the wait!Ordered off the a la carte menu and the food was amazing. The king prawns texturwere cooked to perfection (not overdone and rubbery like most other places) and was bursting with flavour. The "angry birds" meal was awesome and full of flavour in every bite. This is a place I'd definitely recommend you all try!

Such an amazing unique experience! We had the 5 course tasting menu which was literally suprise after suprise, the portions were also perfect and really took my tastebuds on a trip!
