Holland's in Brentwood

Friendly, clean and a nice place for a couple of drinks before travelling on to a West Ham game.

Absolute boys club. Service was alright and staff seem sweet. I'll only knock down the review score because clientel can seem intimidating in there for outsiders.

Hollands has been in Shenfield, opposite the railway station for decades. A simple shoebox shape, with big bifolding doors at the street end, a big TV at the other end and a bar which runs lengthways down the left hand side. The beer is excellent, the service friendly and the local characters, colourful.

Ok if you want to watch sport. Nothing else to recommend it really.
