We also have healthy options that include fresh prawn & avocado and falafel & humus salads, and a selection of wraps and jackets. We pride ourselves on using quality ingredients sourced as locally as possible. Our dishes are homemade with 89 Grilled Chicken and Salt Beef being customer favourites. We cater for not only meat lovers but also vegetarians and vegans too. 89 team is always striving to provide exceptional service. Afternoon tea after a family funeral. Lovely old house with gardens. The food was lovely and very well presented. Staff attentive and friendly. Only downside was lack of parking.

Fantastic Venue. We had a baby shower there and the views were amazing. The staff was on 100% and the service was great! The sandwiches, cakes, scones were all amazing! I would definately recommended and visit again.

Absolutely beautiful for an afternoon tea! Fantastic gluten free options available .. you just need to book in advance 😀The staff are lovely, warm and welcomingCouldn't recommend this lovely cafe anymore... The building is so wonderful and surrounded by history and beautiful grounds

First visit and I was very impressed with the library tea room. Lovely building, high ceilings and beautiful coving. Menu was quite varied. I had chicken, bacon and advocado sandwich. It was delicious. Will definitely go back

This place is a gem! I had Afternoon Tea with a friend for my Birthday on 21st September and it was fantastic. The place is well decorated, spacious and clean. They accommodated a vegan and non vegan Afternoon Tea and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The selection of sandwiches and cakes was tasty and fresh, and we took some home with us too! Well done to the team :)

Two friends and I had an absolutely beautiful vegan afternoon tea here yesterday (21 July 2021). The food was delicious - lots of finger sandwiches, delicious almond sponge cake with jam that tasted just like a Bakewell tart, scrumptious, decadent chocolate brownies and giant scones with vegan spread and jam. Our waiter, Adam, was so helpful and friendly, a real credit to the tea room, and he did everything he could to make our experience very special. Highly recommended.
