One of the best places on High Street. Merchant's friendly staff always make me and my son feel very welcome there. Their food is delicious and I don't think you can find any pub or restaurant as spacious as Merchant even in London.

Skotty was absolutely amazing. His attention to detail and service standards were some of the best I’ve seen. He made sure that we were happy at all times and constantly checked in on us - he also recommended visiting on Fridays and Saturdays due to it busy quite busy if we were after a fun night out. I want to say he was a manager as he was on it at all times and was really concerned with our experience being nothing but positive. He is a real asset to the team and we will be back because of him. Thanks so much Skotty! You’re the best!

This place has really gone down hill. Guaranted to witness a fight on a Friday night, unless you are the one unlucky to look at someone funny, then you might just receive a slap. Bar staff are polite providing a decent service. Toilets are clean enough to take a no.2. This place definitely needs a rethink to make it the place to be again!

I had bottomless brunch here for the first time.Lovely attentive staff that were happy to cater to my fussy preference on the breakfast. Free flowing drinking always coming over to check one me I highly recommend it
