The place was bigged up to me by a few people. Cafes do a better full English for half the price. ‘Crispy fried Chicken and waffles’ was just supermarket breaded chicken, not even crisp on top of frozen potato waffles with some green leaves sprinkled on top. I’d have rather payed someone to kick me in the mouth for breakfast at this price

Location is OK but walk there, as parking is at a premium and getting out of the car park can be tricky, as it sits directly on the roundabout. The decor is pretty cool, the music good, the staff friendly and the food is very good. Just not sure the price tag is justifiable.

Service was very slow on a Friday night. Ended up having to go up and follow up on wine. Sharing platters were mediocre, but okay. There is a nice atmosphere but they need more staff on. The serving staff helpful and friendly, but overstretched.. Not sure I would dash back, but worth a visit if you haven't been before..

Lovely food, great decor, friendly staff, and dog friendly - what’s not to love!

Went here for a girls dinner. We were charged £50 deposit which was very hefty, but this did come off the bill.We were advised that the fries come with the main at no extra cost. However, this was not true and it was an extra when we got our bill.As I don't eat meat, I ordered the vegan burger (which was lovely!) And I had the option to add 'chilli fries'. I was expecting this to be spicy fries, however I was later told that this contains beef and so I opted for the regular fries. When my bill came up, I had been charged £7 extra for a small portion of regular fries!! It was insane. They didn't have any mayonnaise so my friend's meal was incredibly dry. They also ran out of Pinot wine whilst we were there, surely this should be standard when paying extremely expensive prices. Wouldn't come again.

Best Brunch spot in Brentwood. Super trendy setting, great service from the friendly team, accommodating of dogs (they even have a dog menu). What more could you ask? Definitely prebook a table, as rightly so - it's very popular!

Visited on 1st Jan 2022. Quite busy. Ordered a slice of apple pie. Was cold, Was supposed to be warm and with Bailey cream. No cream. When it came with the pie that had been warmed on request, cream was not Bailey cream. Slice was OK though. Green tea was ordered but wrong tea served without honey. When correct tea came there was only just half a mug of hot water...for over 3 quid! Then food came 45 mins later. My vegetarian breakfast was atrocious, made without love of cooking nor interest in customer's satisfaction. We had to ask for spoon, then cutlery, then salt and pepper. Was very hard to get the bill. Very disappointed as we had heard it is a nice local place. Their excuse that it was a busy day is not accepted. If they cared they'd do it much better. It was a £31 lesson, trial by error.

Food is lovely but I’ve been here a few times and the wait for service/drinks/food is insane. After the last time I wanted to give them the benefit of doubt, but today we waited over an hour for a sandwich and beans on toast.

Firstly, food was fantastic and the staff serving it were very attentive and brilliant. Unfortunately the management lets the place down significantly.I booked a table using their online booking system which charges you £20 as a deposit, fair enough with the current amount of no shows in restaurants, however when I received the bill I expected it to be refunded. It was not.I questioned this with the server who told me it would be refunded to my card within 2 weeks and if not to contact them. 2 weeks came and went so I sent a polite email asking for an update. It was ignored for over a week.I called the restaurant, no answer, I sent a follow up email. 2 days later I receive a short reply, no apology, just asking me for a contact number so they could call me back. If they'd bothered to read my previous email, they would have seen my booking reference number they would have been able to look up my booking and get my number from there.I replied within a couple of hours and am now still waiting for an email/phone call or anything back to my account for over a week again. Disgusting administration and customer service skills from whoever is running the place and dealing with queries, they have just decided to keep £20 from me ignore me. I don't live near Brentwood so would have to make a trip especially to sort it out which is ridiculous.Unfortunately I will not be eating there again, which is a shame as I said the food was great and the staff on hand were brilliant, the management lets the place down significantly.

Parking is available in front of the restaurant, but you need to let the staff know your car registration plate. We started off with some green pepper (salted and deep fried) on the house. That was amazing! We absolutely love it! We ordered a dirty burger with truffles and cheese fries, prawn and salmon salad and a burger and fries from the kids menu. Overall, they are delicious, not too oily nor too bland. However, the portions are towards the smaller side. We came home looking for food as we are still hungry after the meal.I will give a 4 stars for the deliciousness of the food. A 3 to 3.5 star for the portion size.
