Great pub with an authentic old school vibe. Has a great outdoor area with the footy shown. Great pints which are always fresh. They are very comfortable with kids or pets

Visited this pub for only the 2nd time ever, 1st visit was probably 5 or so years ago. Was nothing to recommend it then. Under new management apparently, and a pool table and fruit machine have arrived, though the pool cue was totally knackered, its a start. Toilets were fine. Friendly barman, super expensive pint, i imagine I'll return though, progress has been made

Tired interior, unfriendly staff food not available on a Friday lunchtime. I try to like this place but it's not making it easy. Go inside and you are in a timewarp of dated interior. Handful of people and the explanation is simple. Hope the new management are in the process of overhaul as it just seems to be stagnant. Beer is priced same as other local pubs which means there is no reason to visit on that account. If you want a quiet place for a pint then this will fit the bill and for that it is recommended but it will not be to everyone's taste...Great response...I rest my case!!

We went for a late lunch to this pub. We were the only family in the family sitting area although the pub area was quite full up. Consequently it took about 29 minutes before we saw any food after we had ordered! And then too a part of order was missed which I had to follow up a few times on.The staff was great and friendly and the food was very nice but guys you really must work on your service please. Towards the end I had give up on any hope of table service and was simply going to the bar to get things done. Great ambience, friendly staff and good food though.
