The Halfway House in Brentwood

I've only just found this restaurant, after taken there for a work Christmas dinner, the food was really good, so we returned for mothers day. The girls who work there are all lovely, it has a nice happy family vibe, the service is excellent and the food it well cooked and presented.

Nice lunch, well served and well cooked. Thank you. The specials board is well worth considering.

My Mum and Dad had their 50th wedding anniversary party there. Everyone was looked after very well and the staff were lovely. Our taxi's were very late and they allowed us to stay in the warm and wait. Brilliant venus. Thank you

Lovely place to eat, staff very polite and kept checking on us. Never eaten here before. One had a beef roast dine and the meat was a bit chewy. Also i had a steak and that was chewy too

Had our wedding reception here on Friday and was completely blown away with the fantastic service from the beginning all the way through to the end of the wedding night. All the staff and management were absolutely wonderful and always so polite and helpful. We couldn't ask for a better reception. The food was so delicious and tasty. Would highly recommend! You will not be disappointed. We will be regular customers going forward. Thank you for giving us the best wedding reception service ever!

Food is always piping hot when it gets to you. I’ve enjoyed every meal I’ve had here. The curry had celery in it..... in my eyes, that’s a little strange. The staff are very friendly and can accommodate your needs if you have any dietary conditions. Would come here again, thumbs up from me

Popped in here for lunch and ended up having dinner as the food looked so good! Everyone in my party enjoyed the food from the spaghetti Bolognese to the pie to the roast, all were cooked well with good sized portions. Desert was equally as nice and we left satisfied. Fair price for a good meal, we will returning!01/06/2019We booked in here on a return trip from the airport and was once again really pleased with both the quality and cost of out meal. Again fair sized portions and a friendly atmosphere. If your a lover of traditional pub grub, pie, liver and bacon, steak and chips this place is for you. Very fair prices and great friendly service.
