Proper pub with beer garden and large car park. Choice of sandwiches and real ales, so great for walkers like me. Perfect on a sunny day like today. No booking necessary!

I Booked The olde dog Inn for my Daughters Birthday New Years Day, The food was excellent and the staff very attentive. And Emily the Supervisor was very professional and helpful, she went out of her way to make it a special day. I will certainly go there again and recommend it to my friends and family. Thank You.

Lovely traditional pub with a great seasonal menu. I treat this more of an eating pub than a drinking pub in the winter, however in the summer with the outdoor seating, it becomes a better venue for afternoon drink.

Unbelievable good. Food is plentyful and very well cooked. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Really enjoyed as always. Been eating here for years and it still bets expectations everytime.

Lovely country pub. Very generous portions, nice food and atmosphere. Sorry they couldn't take a tip on a card payment! Sadly like many we don't carry cash any more.

Did not book, but was able to get a table inside and order food. The staff were rushed off their feet, but so helpful and attentive. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Lovely old building and a huge outdoor area.

Good food! Lovely old pub on a fairly quiet country route. 👌🏻I'm upgrading my previous review due to today's visit on 22/09/2021 midday afternoon booking.Fantastically helpful staff serving really good tasty tucker in a great tidy little old pub. (Toilets very clean👍) Plenty of parking too.The only niggle I'm going to bring up was the occasional sewage smell emanating from a badly sealed manhole cover in the beer garden, not too great I'm afraid and needs rectifying really. But other than that, nicely run! 🏃♂️ 🏃♀️Thank you for today.

average burger the patty's where very thin an a wee bit dry possibly frozen, the pastry on the camembert onion and fig tart was very undercooked and the tart itself was sloppy with no fig in sight, the chips and salad was okay but you can't really go wrong with frozen chips and opening a bag of salad with bottled dressing. Staff no where to been seen when they was needed, if i was in the area i might pop in for a drink but i wouldn't go out of my way to go back there especially for food!!
