The Shepherd Inn Restaurant in Brentwood

This 15th century inn is one of the most beautiful pubs in the brentwood area, the fine real ale's are always in top condition and the food is amazing. Steve's ham egg & chips are legend in the area. There is also a lovely garden with a really nice pond with ducks.....i would give this public house 10/10.

Enjoyed lunch here - toasted sandwich so nothing exotic!Only down side was I had to sit outside as they don't allow dogs in the bar.

Really quaint pub, good service and the fish and chips were perfect. This in their garden made me laugh.

We called in to the shepherd as we were passing. They were really welcoming and friendly. They had a spare table which they let us have, with our children, who loved running around the garden and playing.We had some food (burgers, hotdogs, pizza and chips) which was nice.I am Happy to give the shepherd a five star rating.
