A cracking little pub with a local feel, but non locals very much welcome. Great garden which is where we sat to recover from our long bike ride with a not so swift ale. We didn't have it but the Sunday Roast is legendary according to reports.

Beautifully situated in wooded countryside, one of the few proper traditional old pubs left now. Nice to feel like you're relaxing back in the day how pubs used to be ! Friendly staff & good choice of ales and cider too.

Great pub. The food was great and for a good price. Got outside seating which is great for a sunny day especially scince it's in the middle of no where so it's nice and quite. The building inside is rustic which gives it that proper pub feeling. Staff where friendly.

Rural pub that feels like it's in the middle if nowhere with parking in amongst the trees opposite. Often music playing as there are no neighbours for whom to keep the noise down. Regular beer festivals, especially on bank holidays.

Great place. Country pub. Dog and child friendly, great staff. Not too busy even at the beer festival.

We love this pub, been here a few times now. Popped in for some great ales with our dogs after a wintery walk. Welcomed in by lovely staff and got a great spot by the fire. Returning soon for food.

This is our absolute favourite pub ever. Am gutted that it is under threat of closure. It's dog friendly, serves lovely food, beautiful location, warm and friendly staff and cliental, would be a genuine travesty if it were to close down.

One of the best pubs in the area with an amazing selection of beers, ales, ciders and perrys. Has an occasional beer festival on bank holidays.Does not take credit or debit cards, which is a massive pain. With that I'd give it five stars.
