Village Brentwood in Brentwood

I work down the road from this place and everyone uses it. Staff are very friendly and the food is always delivered quickly. Very tasty, by far the best butter chicken I've had in Essex.

The best Indian takeaway in Brentwood and I have tried a few. The chicken or the lamb is good quality meat and I love the Vindaloo, which tastes so good and has a real good spice to it. I also like that you can see the chefs working away cooking your food through the window in the shop. The owner is a also a really nice guy and always aims to please.

I have been going here for several years now and the food is consistently great. Really well flavoured sauces, the lamb is always succulent and the rice and naans are delicious. The staff have always been polite, friendly and accommodating. 👍😋

I thought I would try the food here and was very impressed. I ordered the chicken shaslic and kashmiri chicken, both dishes were cooked to perfection and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The chef Abz recommended the dishes. I will definitely order from here again 👍

I just had a Vindaloo Chicken and it was fantastic. Despite being spicy I could feel all the other flavours. The meat was tender and delicate. I really enjoyed that meal.

Shame as used to be quite a nice takeway but not so now: took 1hr 25mins for food to arrive with 1hr advised (normally collect) food was tepid, coldish naan and missing a side order (not the 1st time) and no refund when called back plus worked out more expensive than a Harvester for 2 adults 2 children. I would ask for a itemised receipt in future especially if paying cash. Husband was later sick from his main. I felt icky too. Shan't be using again am afraid.

Excellent food, the dishes were very flavoursome. Customer service was great, the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. They have some unique dishes which you can’t get anywhere else. We tried a chicken dish called Shatkari which had a citrus flavour and Gurkhas Revenge which was amazing (a combination of chicken breast and lamb mince) I highly recommend the place and will definitely continue ordering from them.

Ordered a meal last night. Very happy with everything I ordered. Saffron briyani and kamasutra went really good together. One of the best meal I’ve had in ages. Thank you Village for a great experience.

Ordered from here after years and think the taste has certainly improved.delivery was prompt too.Special mention for Pilau rice and chana masala...haven't had something like that in Brentwood before and I think it's the flavour of ghee...that was by far the best have had here.Obviously not the same strong masalas as we get back home in India but I liked the mild flavours that suits the taste here.Definitely gonna order again and definitely recommended.
