Greys Traditional Fish and Chips in Broadland

I just got two kids chip cones £1.75 each and then curry sauce at £1.80!!! The sauce was more than the chips! What an absolute rip off. The portion was tiny and also in a styrofoam cone instead of paper. The staff where rude and rushed me out.

Sit down meal - Not a very varied menu, chips not served without other items and quite pricey. Staff friendly which is nice but I think we should have realised why it was quiet on a busy weekday in the Easter holidays

Me and my 4 friends went here for a sit down meal one night. They had a takeaway menu and a sit down menu. My 4 friends all ordered something on the sit down menu, I asked for a just a chip butty as I wasn’t that hungry. Because the chip butty wasn’t on the sit down menu they wouldn’t let me order it, as we was sitting inside.. After pleading with the lady for a good minute or so she still wouldn’t allow it. I didn’t want anything other than a chip butty. I didn’t want to kick up a fuss or mess my friends about going somewhere else. So I ordered my chipbutty and was made to eat it outside on my own. I’ve never been so embarrassed. Disgraceful customer service. Won’t be going there again.

Collected fish and chips from here as we were staying with family, and spent the night being violently ill. Many great reviews from this place but I will never go there again.

If you are in Wroxham or on the broads and want fish and chips then make Greys the destination. The food was outstanding!! The guy who served us (the owners son?) was really personable and chatty which was a nice touch... whilst you are at it grab some sugared donuts too, was a lovely sweet treat for afters!!! Thanks Greys!

One of the best lots of fish and chips I have had in a long time, sat in the restaurant for it.Quick service crispy batter on the fish and the chips were crispy too! All fresh which is always nice!Not too local, normally go to Felixstowe but will definitely stop here when near in the future.Highly recommended!

Don't bother with McDonald's down the road. These were probably the best chips I've ever had and decently sized too. Even the vinegar was irresistibly tasty. If it wasn't so far from where we're staying I'd have it as my go-to chippy.

Only our 2nd visit but worth it as they do lovely Rock Salmon (Huss) and chips Our two girls assistance dogs were welcomed in the restaurant part. Big pot of tea. Very nice staff too.
