Lucky House in Broadland

I have ordered from here lots of times before and always found it ok until today. Prawn crackers were absent when I received my delivery so I phoned to ask where they were. I was told that I had never ordered them even though I had ordered on line and had the order in front of me on my phone. The guy was very unhelpful and would not believe me. I won’t be ordering from here again due to their dishonesty.

Definitely best Chinese takeaway in Norwich..Only down side is that they don't take care payments.

Ordered chicken and shrimp chop suey. One piece of chicken, a couple of shrimps and the rest onions! None of the usual veg. Awful. Will not go again.

How very disappointing. Always had very good service and very good food . Ordered arrived today, no hoi sin sauce, spring onions and cucumber with duck pan cakes. No sweet and sour sauce with chicken and no satay sauce with chicken. Contacted you and told i could come and collect or wait an hour and a half for delivery. I can have a £5 credit if I reorder.I find this completely disappointing. I have paid for items I have not received, no apology and not a satisfactory conclusionNot sure I will order again!!

Thank you so much for our lovely meal, we just had ,probably one of the best Chinese meals that we have ever had it was delicious, really easy to order and great delivery service. We will definitely be back .❤️❤️❤️

We hadn't orderd from here for a while and tonight we wished we had bothered. We ordered our meal and was told 40 minutes. 90 minutes later our food was ready but it was cold and not excepted. It was recooked and we took our meal home. The food was inedible:The rice was stodgy.The sweet & sour was so vinegary, the chicken balls dry.The special chow main was not special the chicken seemed under cooked and the beef dry and chewy.The lemon chicken again was dry and the lemon, honey and orange sauce was so bitter it made the meal worse.With the chicken balls being dry we also found in 2 of them a black hair when we bit into them. The whole meal was very quickly despatched to the bin as it was totally inedible.We called in complain and they were unwilling to do anything about the problem. We will never visit this place again and would never recommend this take away to anyone.

Had the chilli beef which couldnt even eat! It was like been frozen and not defrosted proberly didnt even notice the beef just an awful crunch thing I should have taken it straight back but it was new years eve and had my 2 children, would never eat from here again in all my 30 years of getting a chinese I've never had one that I was unable to eat!

Have had good meals from here. No problems with the food. However the service has gone downhill in the past few months. Tonight rang to place an order. Was told 20 minutes. Arrived 18 minutes later. Was lots of other customers waiting and getting told they were very busy and there might be a wait. I waited for at least another 20 minutes which i don’t have a problem with until i was clearly lied to as was told my order was being bagged up. Waited another 5-10 minutes before receiving my order. During the wait many other customers were also in dis belief of the poor organisation. We eventually got home, enjoyed our meal. And about 30 minutes later received a call saying our food had been ready for some time and was waiting collection. They were surprised to hear we had already collected, paid for and eaten our meal.So, fairly good food. But expect to wait patiently during busy periods.

Ordered Thai egg fried rice, got special fried rice. Ordered transparent noodles, got rice noodles. Called up and was told that is the correct noodle, apparently, all noodles under the Thai side of the menu is the same. Yet they call it by different names....... transparent or rice noodles. Told me they had special fried rice on their order. Well, that's not what I ordered! No apology. Clearly charged me for the more expensive special fried rice too. Won't be going back.

Worst mushroom curry ever, it had the consistency of dishwasher (although I'm sure dishwasher tastes better) very runny with absolutely no flavour and to make matters worse when I arrived home they had forgotten to pack my rice.Salt and pepper chips were OK.The veggie sezchuan was average as was the veggie chow main and within an hour of eating we both had a raging thirst, so we've put this down to, too much salt?As our usual takeaway was closed we used Lucky House for the 1st time in 18 months or so.We stopped visiting as on several occasions I ended up with dishes missing or incorrect items, which once you've travelled there and back, it isn't worth the hassle of trying to sort it out.So unfortunately after this latest trip we won't be returning.
