The Black Swan in Broadland

This is a close as I get to my local.Good quality food. I like to saving this one for date nights with the better half.Jez the head chef has a real good menu lots of choice that’s why we keep going back time and again.See you all soon

Unfortunately We were here for a family wake, however the spread and service we received was brilliant. The main restaurant/bar area was lovely & inviting, with a lovely conservatory, leading out to a covered patio/smoking area. This was the first time I've been here, and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of service & food. We will be visiting again.

Post-funeral venue for us, and we had other things on our minds. Having said that, the staff were pleasant and helpful, the refreshments were tasty, and more than adequate. There is quite a lot of parking space, but a lot of it is on shingle, which I suspect is not very wheelchair friendly. Not much of a review, I'm afraid, but circumstances......,.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon and had the roast dinner. The food was lovely, meats were well cooked. The place had a relaxed atmosphere and staff were friendly. We weren't rushed to pay at then end of the meal. Would definitely recommend visiting her, and we will be going back!

Unfortunately it was drinks and nibbles after a funeral so not a lot to say but tables were laid with cups & saucers and flasks with coffee and tea. Nice spread of sandwiches & small cakes.

Decor in good order, and pleasant surroundings. staff seemed friendly. Went there for wake following funeral at st faiths, buffet and hot beverages was very nice and plenty of it.

I've visited here twice over the last two months for get-together dinners. The food is lovely but unfortunately both times the service had been poor for me. The male bartender has been very rude both times I've visited and had a very sarcastic laugh if you bring any issues to his attention. My most recent visit was for a Christmas meal where 18 of us were eating. Several of us had missing courses although we had booked, paid deposits and chosen out meals prior to the date. We also had a server named Jade who was incredibly rude several times throughout the evening even one time getting frustrated so much at one point that she left desserts at the table for us to find out who had chosen what. We will absolutely not be visiting again.

Visited twice in one day, once for coffee and again, later, for a function.A nice interior space with friendly staff, good food and drink, and a pleasant atmosphere.An innovative sms option for ordering to the table.Really pleased we held our function there.Admitedly, we didn't stay in their rooms, as they were booked out, which implies to me that they are at least not bad since there's another hotel 500 meters down the road which was not full.

We had our wedding reception here. The staff were friendly and warm. We felt very welcome by all the staff. They were very good at lending a hand with anything they could and someone was always around checking if we needed anything. All of the courses came out together and all of the guests commented how lovely the food was and the portion sizes were very generous. We booked out 8 of the rooms, there was a bit of confusion with allocating rooms but that certainly wasn't the Black Swans fault and we apologise for causing confusion, it was handled very well and as far as I know us and everyone really liked the rooms. Thank you to everyone involved. We haven't got out much since lockdown we were pleasantly surprised how smoothly it went. Jon and Kirsty

Our booking and card details for a twin room were lost but we were "lucky" they had a family room for which we had to pay more. Amazingly they still had our dinner reservation. Shame as the expensive fish and chips were overcooked, chips inedible and bones in the fish! Very disappointing.Bathroom clean and beds fresh and comfortable.
