One of the best chip shops around local always a full counter friendly faces it's worth a try

This was okay but not special.Chips pale and undercooked. There were bones left in the fish which I think is unacceptable nowadays. The fish also did not have crispy batter which was disappointing.The battered sausages and pies were fine which has saved a 3rd star.Will be going back to Bishop Bridge in the future.

Long queue at 5.20pm on Friday, about 20 people. Queue moved quickly.No customers are allowed inside must order through a hatch and then pick up the food from another hatch.Customers can pay in cash although contactless payment is preferred and encouraged where possible.Cod and chips was delicious - worth standing in the dark and cold for! Several bones but that is expected. Large portions of chips, my mum and I shared a large. Was enough!

Had 2 small cods absolutely full of bones gave up trying to eat it because I’m not to keen on people asking how I died and my family having to tell people I died choking on 10 small fish bones

Great quality food , has been for years , best chippy in this area .

Paul Utting, you with your stupid rules about having to serve from a hatch on your front door has ruined your reputation as being one of the best Fish and Chip shops in Norwich.You still advertise on Google that you close at 9 but after getting in the queue at 7-30 to then get turned away at 8 saying you are closed is disgusting. Your staff deserve more as they are getting the brunt of the unhappy customers you now have. If you don’t sort this out soon you will not have a business which is shameful. Your amazing staff deserve more from you.Shame on you Paul Utting!!!!

Really annoyed at the chip shop before 8 pm on a Friday night large que waiting to be told 1portion of chips left then they are closing after we’ve been waiting & the website says they are open til 9pm & no prewiring they are closing so we are not queuing for nothing! Very poor!

Lovely fish + chips + a good variety of things you can order from the menu ,nice friendly staff to serve you .

Fish and chips were good. Certainly better than average, there was a rather shockingly large queue at 5:20pm on a Friday but kudos to the staff they very quickly moved through the queue and were smiling, laughing and interacting with everyone in the shop. Top notch staff for sure and decent fish and chips cooked in beef dripping, the way the should be!
