The Hermitage in Broadland

On a short break to Norfolk and found this gem of a pub to enjoy good, local company and amazing home cooked food.. Happy atmosphere created by owners and staff. We’re going again tonight!

Went there as there was a mororhome outside for sale which my father in law was interested in. Looks a lovely pub that is very close to the Norfolk Broads etc. Will pop in when I'm that way again.

Very welcoming pub. A fifteen minute walk from the moorings at Acle Bridge. Nice selection of beers and wine with pleasant service. I had the mince pie with mash which was excellent, my wife chose the chicken which again was cooked well. For dessert my wife had the pavlova which was of ample portion and I am reliably informed also delicious. Yes nice pub,nice food and pleasant staff, what’s not to like.

Although described as a restaurant there is a separate dog friendly bar area and drinkers are made welcome. There are a couple of real ales on. Varied menu from snacks to main meals. Well worth a visit.
