Fantastic Village Pub, rescued my 40th Birthday gathering by providing the space for everyone to meet up and have fun. It's really dog friendly and the staff are lovely and friendly. Large beer garden to the rear and a fair bit of entertainment over the warmer months in the evenings / at weekends.

Called in the longe arms on the way home from a restaurant. An interesting evening... Made to feel very welcome by cross dressing high heel wearing male karaoke π€ singing male. Not what I was expecting ππ€£ from a village pubπ³π€£ everybody was having a great time π

Great pub and hosts with large garden. Stayed at local cottages and this pub was in walking distance. Very friendly and accommodating, even to the extent of lending us a pair of tweezers as one of the party had a splinter. Due to covid they were not serving food but allowed us to bring a chinese takeaway in and provided plates etc. Great selection of gins and good recommendations from bar staff. Pity there is not a pub like this near where I live. Would definitely recommend.

Large party of us had roast dinners and some of the kids had fish goujons. All the food was freshly prepared and cooked brilliantly. Roast dinners were lovely, rich tasting, plenty of gravy and good portions. Service and prices were good. Great local pub experience.

Enjoyed a full English breakfast here today that was well cooked, a generous portion size, served by friendly staff and very reasonably priced! So it ticked all the boxes. If I had a slight criticism I would say it was the coffee. It would've been nice if they could offer milky coffees like latte/cappuccino as the filter option they served was not the best to be honest. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this pub for a good filling Sunday morning breakfast!
