I needed the toilet and was just going to have a drink and go but my wife and I decided to have a snack and wow !!We went for a fish finger sandwich which turned out to be fish in a tempura batter with homemade tartar sauce, with skinny fries lovely salad and dressing all in a chrispy baguette. !!!!!We're going back soon to try other dishes. Please try this restaurant it's fabulous, but please book so you are not disappointed it does get busy.

A little gem in the middle of nowhere. It was very busy on my visit so I sat outside where there is plenty of seating in a nice garden. I like that you can just drop in for a quiet drink without having to have something to eat.

Very pleasant one night stay. Staff were excellent, food was good, room was small but clean and comfortable. Noisy floorboards were the only minor issue. Would be very happy to stay again and highly recommend

Food is a bit over priced for what it is.I ordered the Chef’s Hand Pressed 8oz Steak Burger for £15.50I couldn't eat it, it was very very dry over cooked and it was very cors with gristle bits in it. I expected to be very tasty and juicy. I complained, and the response was, I will tell the chef 👨🍳 🙄 I spent with my family £100 in this restaurant and I will never go there again, by the way the table next to us complaining to and ask if the chef 👨🍳 has changed, they have been here before unfortunately I wouldn't recommend the food in this restaurant. Except better quality and taste for the prices they ask for. Average Pub quality. The burger at Bürger King taste 10 x better 😋

Celebrating a family birthday on 1st April. Table of 10. Varied menu which suited all tastes from us oldies through to teenagers. Well cooked and despite being busy with another large party, no long waits. Some really delicious and unusual desserts. Staff were friendly throughout. A really pleasurable evening.

Lovely location, and staff were fantastic. There were a fair few of us, and everyone was well looked after by the staff for. Unfortunately I personally found the food to be way overpriced for what it is.. had the "Butterflied chicken" with fries, salad and peas. Plate was warm when the meal was served however the food quickly cooled down, by time I had taken a couple of bites the food was cold. Chicken was quite hard.. certainly wasn't worth the £15... On the other hand location was fantastic. Nice quiet village, well nested away, certainly wasn't too busy when we visited.

The Parson Woodforde is a great destination, it occupies a quiet location in a quiet village. It is cyclist friendly, with plenty of parking if you have driven there. The food is worth going for, always delicious! Great service from friendly, welcoming staff. The beer's not bad either!

Always lovely atmosphere and food. On this occasion we arrived early for lunch and was looked after splendidly, they ensured we got our food speedily even though they were also looking after a huge booking that lunchtime too. One of our faves in the area.

Met with friends and a great meal.Staff very nice and engaging. Went on a Weds night and it was busy. Good choice on Menu. It was a Steak night and normally this is what I would opt for. I did decide to go off piste and enjoyed a delicious Halibut with Tagliatelle and Chorizo. Great grub. Nice venue et down there
