The Plough Inn in Broadland

Great food, had steak and guineas pie, and mash. Was a big portion.Stayed in room 10, which was very well appointed, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast the following morning was delicious with fresh locally sourced ingredients.Nice little pub/inn close to Aylesham and Blickling HallOnly thing that put me off was the noise from the staff at night, under the window, and the number handwritten on the door, everything else was great

Had a delicious burger, was a little confused about ordering as we were pointed to our table and some staff could be seen chatting for about 10 minutes after we had been seated, while we were waiting to order food and drinks. Once we got their attention, the service was great and recommended going back because of the quality of the food but staff shouldn't make customers wait so long to order.

OK tough review this one.I marked 3 stars based on experience from a number of visits.OK the good. Staff are always friendly and polite. Pub is very clean and pleasant with a lovely country feel.Food has always been very good there. Amazing roast dinners. And starters good to. Food is hot and tasty. The kids mains at times though does not always seem as fresh or tasty as adult meals. But I would not say they are bad or not nice. But overall great food amd quality.So why 3 stars you ask.Well on every visit we found the speed of service poor. Once your order is taken for food and drink, and after your first course the service comes to a snails pace. Each visit there is such a length of time from finishing your course to clearing the table followed by further long waits for next course.Then after mains we always say waiting amd waiting for table to be cleared. On last two occasions it was so long we decided to bin getting desert and just get the bill. Which was another long wait.It's a shame this has been constant with our visit. If service speed was much better I would be hitting those 5 stars.

Food was amazing! When we arrived they was quite busy, but our services was still on point. Good selection of drinks with table service or bar service. Inside had a nice modern twist to a classic English pub.

Had a fantastic stay at The Plough Inn.I arrived and was greeted with a friendly helpful atmosphere.The staff guided me to my room and left me to settle in.The room was amazing, clean tidy and with everything you could possibly ask for.The bed was comfy and I had a great nights sleep.The shower room is immaculate and perfect to wake you up in the morning!Breakfast was superb!If you want an amazing place to stay in Norfolk then look no further, this place is by far the best around in my opinion.Thankyou Brad and your staff for a perfect stay.

Came in today last minute as a table of 6. We rang about an hour before arriving and the lady on the phone was very accommodating and happy to sort us out with a table.Been past this place so many times and have been meaning to try it out. I have to say, it was excellent! The service was fantastic, the food was perfect and was a very enjoyable experience. We will be returning for sure!

Great meal here. This place serves good food at a good price. Lots to choose from on the menu and all really nicely presented.The burgers are lovely and the chicken wings were a hit. For dessert there's a whippy machine with whippy bowls and milkshakes in all different flavours.comfortable surroundings and nice staff.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Plough Inn. The staff were exceptional in helping us sort out travel arrangements and were so kind to us with every interaction. Our room was super cute and comfortable. The best sleep we had on our traveling holiday.Really enjoyed the stay and hope to come back!

I can't believe what fantastic meal my wife have just had. It was cooked to perfection with fresh vegetables. It's the best meal we have had out in years.We are on a holiday but if we lived nearer this would be a regular haunt. Brilliant staff.Reasonable prices including the wine.

Reasonable food set in a pleasant pub. Set by main road which doesn't do much for view but it's easy to get to. Good selection for veg and vegan, as well as all the usual suspects. Very slow service when we went even with minimal tables
