Cannot recommend this place enough! The food was absolutely delicious, all the staff are incredibly friendly/lovely and the interior design is LUSH! It felt like being over at a friend's or family member's for dinner ♡ We will definitely be back!!!

Lovely traditional village pub. Stayed on the campsite for 4 nights and had a great time exploring the local area with our dogs. Highly recommended.

Very good food with the chef's specials (see photo) amazingly tasty. Porky belly or homemade Burger are to die for and at very reasonable pub prices. Good selection of hand pumped ales too. Book early as gets busy. Highly recommended.

Had an amazing Sunday roast, with more than all the trimmings, at this pub. The brisket was cooked to perfection, as were the veggies which included cauliflower cheese and parsnips.Staff were very warm and welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.Would highly recommend.

On holiday and staying at a place called Squirrel's Barn which is easy walking distance of this delightful village pub. Ate here on a Friday night. Dog friendly pub and v welcoming staff and locals. Food v good - other half had homemade steak burger, and I went for steak. Delicious! Good beers on draught and lovely bottle of Malbec. Ate inside. Enjoyed our night so much that we went back Sat night (sat outside) where we plumped for pork belly and fish pie. Again, food v tasty. Wish we had such a lovely pub within walking distance of our home. Would highly recommend.

Such a great little village pub, everyone is incredibly friendly. Good food, great beer, and cozy atmosphere. So lucky to have this here!Nice large garden area in the back as well where live music will sometimes be held. Also seemingly a good place to park your camper for the night to partake in a bit of food and tipple.

Friday 24th August 2018.Genuine village pub with a very small campsite round the back. Cycle touring 1 person 1 small tent = £12. Free hot outdoor showers, back door access to pub toilets out of hours.I arrived in torrential rain (of course it's August bank holiday weekend!), landlord very helpful. Good quality food and drink. They go that extra bit to make it above average.
