The Rising Sun in Broadland

8 of us had lunch here, the food was great and included many options including wood fired pizza and a few vegan choices. It's in such a great location and we had an after lunch stroll in the sunshine to complete the experience 😊 would definitely recommend.

Had lunch here with my husband, we shared pizza and a portion of chips. The food was really tasty and more than enough for the two of us. We sat outside with our dogs next to the river and had a really enjoyable experience. We found the staff to be friendly and attentive. Would definitely eat here again.

We stayed the night here as we were attending a wedding at The Norfolk Mead Hotel up the road. Certainly worth doing as it’s half the price here and the rooms don’t stink of whatever is cooking in the kitchen - unlike up the road. Nice clean room and a really good size. A great spot for a walk along the river to clear any post wedding reception hangovers and plenty parking. If there wasn’t an noise coming from a locked cupboard (I’m guessing central heating/water tank) that woke me up then it would have been 5 ⭐️

Dog friendly. Fabulous venue. Great menu. Knowledgeable staff. They don't charge tips on the bill, so don't forget to add the tip when you pay. The staff members are great here.

Amazing food for my mum's special 60th birthday. For a large party of 20+ people the service was prompt, efficient and 100% what we ordered. Rarely we do out as a large party and it be as excellent as last night. Staff were attentive and so friendly and helpful. Will defiantly be returning.

Lovely pub decor, service, and food! We didn't stay long enough to see what toilets are like but they do have access for wheelchair if need to. I have to say I was extremely impressed with the food, fish melted in my mouth. Hubby had lemon sole. In the background was a couple stone pizza ovens too.

Popped in on the off chance after funding the pub on-line.Lovely pub, excellent atmosphere & the food was amazing.Huge portions, I had the Beer & Mustard Braised Beef with paprika chips & Mr F a Burger & chips.... I ate x4 chips as the beef was so big I couldn't manage both.Only downside the soft drinks are expensive £1.90 for a large soda & lime and £3.10 for a large diet coke. The total bill was £35 & no puds as simply no room! Would completely recommend if you want amazing pub food

Smashing takeaway meal from here..Sat in restaurant in past and been plagued with so-so meals and small for the owners group portions (Recruiting Sargent and Buck at Blicking much better)The portion sizes were great, the food was so top notch, I keep trying to plan another visit..Went for stroll before, got back bit early so bar staff told kitchen who helped bring it together a bit earlier.Will recommend to all to give a go!

We were a group of 6 having lunch. it was the second time we have been for Lunch (first time was in Aug 2021). A lovely setting by the water, The staff are very good. and the food was excellent. The Best Pizza I have ever had! I am looking forward to going again in 2022!

Beautiful beautiful place inside and out. From the moment we arrived the customer service was amazing all staff work very hard to make sure each guest is happy and feels welcome.The rooms are just so lovely cozy and fresh.The food is really good quality to.The views all I can say is WOW perfect.So to everyone at the Rising sun thankyou for such a lovely stay we hope to return very soon.
