The White Horse in Broadland

Just two minute drive from our hotel and what a fantastic experience. Service was excellent and food first class. Plenty of space and didn't feel rushed. Only damp spot was as we were leaving one of the waitresses knocked on the car window and asked if we'd paid the bill. Other than that the evening was most enjoyable.

Absolutely lovely. Very nice reception from staff on arrival, seated immediately, with somewhere to put my sleeping son. Overall service was excellent, it has a real local, family-run pub feel. The food was amazing. We had a fillet steak, and it was fantastic. Cooked to perfection, everything tasted freshly prepared that day, and we weren't left waiting at all. I'd expect all of the food to be to this standard as my children's meals were at the same standard. The setting is lovely, can't say enough positive about it, so I've put some pics on. I didn't take any of the food, bevause I'd strongly advise you go and see for yourself if you’re nearby.

5 stars is not enough for this amazing restaurant! So accomodating friendly staff, amazing food good portions. The Lamb and mint pie with vegetables mash potatoes and gravy was so delicious I have never tasted anything like it! Full compliments to the chief and all the staff. 10 stars highly recommended 👌 gold stars. 🌟⭐

This is the second time recently I'd been to this place, and whilst the food was as always excellent, and they allowed my assistance dog in to the restaurant, I am only giving it 4 stars instead of 5, due to when I asked for a bowl of water for my dog due to the heat, I was told I cannot have a bowl in the restaurant area, and had to take my dog out into the sunshine for her to get a drink.Other than that though, a great place to eat, lovely staff ( mostly ) and a great lunch and from the previous time dinner menus.

This is an excellent venue. There's plenty of parking. I got a lovely warm welcome on arrival and the service was tip top. The menu covers all tastes. I settled for scampi and chips followed by the chocolate brownie. Both were superb. Everyone was friendly and professional. I can't fault it.

We visited the restaurant last night for my sons birthday. The staff were friendly and attentive. Our food arrived quickly and it’s was the tastiest lasagne I’ve ever had. The Guinness and steak pie was packed with melt in the mouth steak. The price was reasonable. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Will definitely be going back - what a wonderful place!

Very average fare. Most disappointed in that the meal didnt come with all that was advertised; such as we had to go and request the missing items and highlight such.It shouldn't have been 'sent' without checking.The only compliment offered against such was that if we had finished the meal then the missing item would have been deducted. Should this not be expected anyway..as the item hasn't been delivered?..This remark didn't give much empathy. However beyond this nothing for the failure in service - which in part is what you are paying for when dining out.

Had beef burger and fries,steak and kidney pie and veg for mains,With Bakewell tart & custard, honeycomb cheesecake and cream. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff delicious food. Would highly recommend!

A really enjoyable experience. We were a family of five and all had different meals from the full choice of dishes and were all very pleased with our selections. The staff were friendly and helpful and although clearly very busy we never felt rushed and decided to try a delicious dessert too. I'm looking forward to warmer weather so we can sit outside on the lovely garden terrace.

Had a great family meal yesterday which was the first time back for a few years since we moved away from the area. Was well worth the journey and we will be going back.Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was perfectly cooked and tasty.Desserts were lovely.The pub has had a makeover since we last visited. Looks cosy and welcoming.Big thanks, see you soon.
