Wednesday lunchtime - not at all busy - friendly welcome and good service without being over attentive. Moroccan spiced chicken salad very good. Colleague went for a light snack - fish finger sandwich which came with fries and salad - it was a chunky sandwich. Aspall cider on draught is always a plus.

Food was excellent, not a great choice for vegetarians but what was on offer was tasty. Great atmosphere, we would go back.

Great dog friendly pub. Popped in today on way home with both dogs and had a warm welcome and a table in the bar area. Dogs had a big bowl of water brought over for them. We had the rib-eye steak, Cromer crab and the pineapple parfait desert. All were cooked to perfection and really tasty. Nice time was had by all would come again if weren’t heading home soon.

Me and my partner went at the end of March. The food is spectacular, comfy and clean room and kind staff. We both enjoyed it so much we will definitely be back again.

Lovely waitresses, excellent service and food came out at a great pace. Marinated chicken starter was delicious, followed by the roast beef which was outstanding. Beautiful decor and a nice beer garden, would highly recommend this place!….. Adding Carlsberg to draught wouldn’t hurt though :)

Outside seating in the form of picnic benches in nice size garden. Pleasant pub for a drink on a summer evening.

Just the most wonderful place to stay. Very high standards of cleanliness and offering quality accommodation, loverly rooms with ample parking. The diner was also very nice with a high standard of choice of dishes. Finally the breakfast was totally traditional and wow it was delicious.

We went last night to celebrate our Sons 50th Birthday.From arrival to departure everything was perfect.We were sat in the alcove which was lovely.We were served by a charming young lady who was exemplary and a real credit to the Buck.We hope you pass on this praise she deserves it.The food was outstanding compliments to the chef.All in all perfect.Thank you for making our party so successful
