Gulshan in Broxbourne

We ordered through just-eat and no problem with the ordering. The delivery driver was friendly and polite. The food... Well my husband had Prawn Vindaloo, extremely spicy, it was nice but not worth what we paid for it. We got 3 onion bhaji's, bit tasteless and for the price, expected a little more than that. I had Chicken Korma, it was relatively warm, not sugary or anything. The rice was average,no better than a microwave one though. The Naan was not tasty and looked a bit undercooked, also on the small and thin side. We paid £31 for the 2 of us, and honestly, I wish we'd saved our money and brought a supermarket one, because it wasn't any better than that! Save your money and buy a decent supermarket one! We could have sent it back, or phoned up, but honestly, we were starving and hadn't eaten all day. After a hectic week, we wanted to have a once in a blue moon treat... Never again. Sorry Gulshan, but you really need to increase your quality for the prices that you are charging. It really isn't about the money, but the quality of your food isn't something to be proud of, it's rather dire in fact.

Excellent food - I can see how the chef earned their chef of the year award! Lovely staff that provide an excellent service and good laughs. Definitely recommend!

Food is delicious and staff are fantastic!

Never fail to impress!! We have takeaways from them most weeks. Ate in the restaurant tonight for my birthday. Great service and the food is to die for. Their saag aloo is a real treat!!

Had an amazing meal delivered by Gulshan last night, the Sag aloo is the best I've ever tasted and everything was fresh and nothing was oily it was just a shame the chicken was dry in the madras but other than that I can't fault it. I've been trying to find my go to indian take-away for a while now and I've defiantly just found it

The Gulshan Indian restaurant is absolutely amazing!! There's no need to go anywhere else. The food is delicious, more importantly you can tailor any dish to your liking, or if you have any dietary requirements like free from milk or prefer a vegan dish instead the staff will tailor to your taste. The staff are friendly, accommodating and go above and beyond for their customers.My favourite dish cooked to be vegan. Vegetable Rogan Josh, Medium to Madras for heat, Saag aloo side, mushroom rice with a paratha.

I can't believe that other guests have given this place 1 star, I personally had a fantastic experience. Not only was the food delicious, served hot, in an appropriate time and well presented but the staff on 16/11/19 were so polite helpful and really friendly that I felt welcomed. I will happily return to the restaurant in the future.Outstanding dining experience for myself and mrs.

Good local Indian with friendly staff, well cooked food and good spicing.
