Myddleton Fish & Chips in Broxbourne

Was very dissapoint last night which is very unusualThe chips were cold and the batter was verySoggy

Usually very pleased with the food but not tonight. The chips were luke warm and the fish was overcooked. Very dry and tasteless. Very disappointed.

Excellent fish and chips. The fish was fresh, cooked at the moment and was nice, crisp and well seasoned. The service was brilliant and the stuff was very kind and welcoming. Highly recommended and a very pleasant experience.

IT ARRIVED 15 MINUTES LATE BUT THE QUALITY AND SIZE OF THE FISH MADE UP FOR IT GOOD FRESH FISH BIG PORTIONS AND PROPER CHIPS IT WHOULD HAVE BEEN 5 APART FROM THE LATE DELEVERY BEST AROUND

Not particularly impressed.. Ordered 2x cod and chips.. Well presented and friendly delivery bloke but food quite dissapointing.Chips tasted like cardboard and the cod you could just tell it's from a frozen batch as it was extremely bland and all you could taste was water. None of that aroma you get from fresh fish.Overall food is average at a push.Fish and chips isn't the same as years ago. Everything was freshly cooked and even the chips had good taste but as times have moved on there are much cheaper ingredients to use which makes the traditional fish and chips an embarrassment.

Food tasted really good. Delivery from Just-Eat arrived well in time, and friendly service. Will order again!

Just when I though Hoddesdon lost it, these guys show up.Their Fish and Chips were bang on and I couldn't have asked for more.Fresh Fish, Crispy batter and perfectly cooked chips.Their portion are very generous, a well presented restaurant and friendly staff.Over satisfied with Myddleton Fish & Chips and highly recommend anyone to go there.Plus I could always chuck missus to Morrisons and have a quick well-deserved meal. Location wise, well situated!5/5

The quality of fish was superb, fresh as you like and tasty. Chips were very good, could've been slightly crispier though. But again, they were fresh cooked in clean oil.Batter on fish was light and crispy, perfect.Price was what you expect for fish and chips - about £15 for x2 large cod and chips.Service and manner of staff was delightful, very friendly. Will definitely head back there again for more.
