Neptune Fish & Shish in Broxbourne

This was the first (and last) time ordering from Neptune Fish & Shish. It should be called Fish & s***!!Honestly, The food is greasy and tasteless, The pancake roll was like a cross between hard beansprouts and curry paste. The curry sauce was a strange liquid, that looked like a thin watery sewage colour. It didn't taste nice either. The saveloy was tasteless. The texture was awful. My husband is not fussy when it comes to food, even he said it was horrible. All in all, it was absolutely abysmal. As previously mentioned, I would not give this to an animal!!!! Please close this shop down, I dread to think where they get their ingredients/food from. The coke tasted like it had been watered down ~ possibly a cheaper brand, with the coca cola label attached?£25 down the toilet... possibly where the food originated!!

Worst mixed special ever, the donor was raw, the rice tasted horrid stale and the salad had been frozen and wasn’t fully defrosted , in all honesty if I was eating in I would have sent it back , the only edible item was the pitta breads and even those were stale, and to top it all off the delivery driver was miserable as hell. All in all a waste of £25

THE CHICKEN SHISH WRAP IS SO GOOD. So f*cking good.Staff are friendly, and the wait is rarely long.I just hope you guys think about making a chicken and lamb mixed shish wrap!

Well I have to say I’m very surprised at the one star reviews on here, we’ve ordered 3-4 times here and it’s been perfect, maybe a little later than they told me but they are busy so what else can you expect, but I have to say we are regular Friday night takeaway people and out of all the chicken Shiah kebabs I’ve had….this one is the ultimate best!! And I had a saveloy too, fresh, juicy and the best taste ever, I’d give it all 5 stars anytime, we’ll done neptunes!!

Worst place ever. Despite the friendly service the food is terrible...I wouldn't feed it to my dog. Do yourself a favour and eat toast instead.

WOW!I would say this the BEST fish/Chips and kebab in the town. I was amazed by the service and quality of food. Their prices are good! the service is incredible and the food just taste amazing! This place definitely needs more credit for what they do!KEEP IT UP

Gave 1 star for delivery driver as he had trouble finding us. Food, was absolutely rank..Ordered a large mix doner with everything and asked for and quite rightly charged extra 50p for extra chilli peppers. Also ordered large Cod and chips and a savaloy.. It arrived around the time suggested. Got it back, Cod? Small greasy tasteless and cold and never got any chips! savoloy? , how many times was it reheated? It was like a beer stick. Rock hard, even my dog turned his nose up. As for my Kebab, if that was supposed to be a large then it was from Lilliput. , pitta bread was actually bread you get from the packaging, totally uncooked. Never see a griddle or pan. Kebab was Half the size of other kebab shops, not one bit of salad, after paying an extra 50p for extra chillies, I got a total of 3 chilli peppers for which I was charged 50p for extra. And to boot, I spent 15 minutes trying to get through to complain but just engaged. Not even worth explaining. See the pics, AVOID.. Disgusting, Will never ever use again..

The recent change to chips made with higher quality potatoes has elevated this establishment to five star status! We would best describe the chips as tasting like the best Fish N Chip shop food from our childhoods back in the 80s.Lovely staff who recognise repeat customers and greet genuinely. The Fried Chicken and Kebab are also worth a munch too😁👏👏

Always quality food from these people. Great service and friendly. Don't know what the people below me are moaning about.
