Nippon Sushi in Broxbourne

Sushi was bad. Poorly constructed. Fish had skin still on which made chewing hard. Salmon had a weird colour. Found couple hairs. Flavours not existent. Very poor quality. Overpriced. Had to throw it all in the bin. My fault for ordering Sushi from hoddesdon. Should've known. I will have to meditate and pray so that I may forget this traumatic experience.

Stay away from this place! Ordered Beef Donburi and got hard rock dry pieces of meat and dry rice food smells like dog food! It smelled out my whole flat! Don’t even know how this place is still open in Hoddesdon called them and they said go and complain to Just Eat

A very expensive stale chicken rubbery donburi, rice hard to chew and sushi was 80% rice and a tiny bit of salmon. The overall food didn't have any penny of 'Japanese' feel in it. Also the other reviews are so dodgy ones, seems like 'paid reviews' - be sensible and stay away.

Such a rip-off! Sorry but you don't have the right to call yourself "sushi" this proper paella a lot of rice and cheap frozen crab sticks or whatever they called. price for what we got 45£, really? 5 £ is the most for 1 kilo of rice and some sort of unknown stuffing.people, if you know what is sushi, than this place is definitely not for you, if you like paella, maybe try this place. that's all I wanted to say.crispy duck salad deserves additional review.

Food was ordered to be delivered at a specific time and it arrived 45 minutes late!!!!! unfortunately it was missing the mochi, by the time the food came everyone was so hungry it was hard to enjoy the food. Female delivery person was friendly which was good.

This place is my favored. I eat in a lot of restaurants but to this place I constantly return again and again. The stuff is very amicable and the cooking they cook is so yummy. I would always prefer to have a good dinner here. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Basic sushi that fell apart with low quality fish. Anything tempura had been deep fried in old oil. And honestlysome of the worst sashimi I've ever had. To top it off it's hardly good value for money

Turns up lukewarm/cold everytime and ordered at least 5 times hoping for better next (wont be ordering again) , all has to be put in the microwave on arrival. For a decently expensive meal, the pot of cheap chili sauce from a bottle kind of ruins it a bit. When ordering soy sauce expect some more cheap packets. The food does overall taste decent but its ruined with the 60/90 min delivery times and the obvious attempts to cut cost any way they can. Wouldn't recommend at all, just not worth it. Order a Chinese instead, at least you know it'll come ready to eat.

Delivery and service in general was very good, but hot food was in the middle of sushi rather than on the top or separated, and so had slightly warmed some of the sushi. With it being a hot day anyway, this obviously made me concerned about whether the raw fish would still be safe to eat. The tuna in the nigiri was not the best either. Expected slightly better fish for the price. Pumpkin katsu was delicious though

I have ordered from Nippon Sushi several times and have yet to be disappointed. Their sushi is pretty standard, to be honest. It's not amazing or much better than a high-end supermarket sushi, but it definitely satisfies the sushi craving. Having tried some of their other dishes (such as their gyoza dumplings and prawn katsu), they are far less notable, so I would advise sticking with the sushi selections. The platters and sets on offer are still on the expensive side, but they will save you a lot of money compared to ordering smaller varieties individually. The crab rolls are one of their strongest savoury options.Unlike previous reviewers, I have experienced no delivery issues. The delivery driver at Nippon Sushi has never arrived late, usually on time or early. Granted, we aren't far away, but our home is a little awkwardly located.The best food Nippon Sushi has is, without a doubt, the mochi. I suspect this dessert has been often overlooked, but it's the strongest thing Nippon Sushi has on offer. THIS is the main dish that makes me a returning customer. It's the one dish that makes the small portions and high price absolutely worth it. These chocolate balls are utterly delicious. I have sampled a large variety of mochi balls from several restaurants, Japanese supermarkets and authentic street food vendors. The mochi distributed at Nippon Sushi tops every single one. Most mochi balls available use ice-cream. The ones without are filled with a flavourless goo, usually. These ones, however, are filled with a much better alternative - a rich, creamy, and high quality chocolate ganache. The rice coating is generously dusted with cocoa. I couldn't recommend them more.Overall, I do recommend Nippon Sushi for it's sushi selections, crab rolls and mochi. Even if you're not overly keen on sushi and other Japanese dishes, I am certain that those mochi balls would win over anyone with functional taste buds.
