Olympic in Broxbourne

Lovely looking restaurant and very nice and welcoming staff however the food was a massive let down overpriced small portions and burgers were not home made as expected but frozen. Such a shame as location is amazing but so far from authentic Greek food. Had better from local kebab shop. Really disappointed.

We went hear to have a meal last night and TBH was shocked at the state of the beer garden can only explain it as if the parents/owners had gone away for a week and left there children to look after the place...badly.tables where a mess and no one cleaning them up, umbrellas lying around just an untidy unpleasant atmosphere to sit and enjoy a drink let alone food. The staff were walking around with a beer whereas i would have expected staff outside sorting the tables and ensuring everything is in orderseems to have gone down hill since i last went 4 weeks ago maybe it was just a bad day but nether the less all was to casual and unprofessional for us so decided to eat elsewhere

The Woodman and Olive is like no other Greek restaurant I have ever been to. They've set the bar so high it's unbeatable.We had a birthday party in their gorgeous outdoor area. The kids were so happy playing in the park space. Everyone was absolutely blown away by the food and venue. All our guests commented, at some point, on how fabulous the space is. The food is simply to die for, there's no other way to put it. A truly exceptional restaurant in every way. Kyri and his staff went above and beyond. Their patience and kindness is unmatched. They made it so easy to organize and made countless accommodations for us. Chris was an absolute angel, lending me a hand whenever I needed him throughout even though he was extremely busy. I honestly can't thank them enough for the amazing evening we've had. They are clearly professionals, but the warmth and friendly nature of the business provides such a welcoming environment that you feel like family. I would recommend The Woodman and Olive to anyone, both as a venue space or just for dinner. I can't wait to return!Thank you so so much for giving our family another beautiful memory together.

Nice location, not a complicated menu. Enjoyed the Brizola, some side salad, be it a cucumber/tomato slice with a bit of rocka would have finished off the plain looking dish!

I’ve attended an engagement party and christening at the independently owned ‘Woodman and Olive’, I can honestly say, the service and food have been impeccable. It’s authentic Greek cuisine, variety of cocktails and super friendly / attentive staff is a fantastic formula for both an event or casual dinner. If you want a touch of Cyprus in Wormley, I could not recommend this and the baklava cheesecake more!!!

We had a great evening at the Woodman and Olive with Friends and Family. The food was excellent, portions great and the staff were incredibly attentive. The place is also ideal for families with young kids during the day. I couldn’t recommend it enough and will definitely be back there soon!

We have probably been at least once a month since the new management and will continue to do so! The food is incredible, high end yet in a comfortable setting you can go dressed up or casual bring the kids or leave them at home!I know for we will probably be there every weekend over the summer with the park and greenery it’s perfect for our baby and we can bring the dog!We have loved it so much we have even planned our daughters christening, first birthday and our wedding at the woodman and after the fun day on the weekend we really can’t wait.This place is just what the area needed.

We had a great meal in the pub, portions were big and food was delicious. Staff are are very friendly. Would recommend it and go back again.

We have visited the woodman and olive for special occasions often. This was our first visit back under new management. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. We ordered chicken souvlaki, what we got didn't resemble the pictures on the website. We got loose lumps of chicken on a side plate , and I got a bowl of greasy rice, that was it, I had to order a side salad separately to add a bit of colour to my meal. I asked the waitress if they were under pressure as it was busy and I thought this might be why, but she told me no it wasn't that busy at all. Also when we got the bill we noticed that they added a 10% service charge which I found to be quite cheeky, I should be the one to decide whether I leave a tip or not. Unfortunately we won't be going back which is a shame as we loved the location.

Great food, great service and great setting! The food is great and plentiful. Staff were really friendly and attentive. Looking forward to my next visit.
